Full disclosure - I did not hire Angie. This review is only for my experience in attempting to get a quote for my wedding flowers. I unfortunately have never seen her actual work in person. Additionally, much of the below feedback I sent directly to Angie about a month ago, and I did not receive any response back.
So, here's what happened. I met Angie in person back in October, and I was excited to see what she could put together for my wedding. After we met and chatted about my vision and what I was looking for, she told me she'd put something together and that I would see a quote via email in a day or 2. I gave her a couple weeks, but received nothing. I followed-up, got a response, some excuses, but still no quote. I waited, and waited, and waited. For a month. Nothing. I gave up - met with other florists, and signed a contract with someone else. It's a competitive market for wedding florists, many book up months in advance, and no bride has time to wait around just for a quote - from any vendor.
It's a bit disappointing to feel like my business is not a priority, for whatever reason. As a bride, I really cannot imagine hiring and trusting someone who couldn't get it together enough to even send a simple proposal of services.
Plus - before we even met, there was confusion about what date we agreed on, and on the actual day of our meeting, she arrived 15 minutes late. Not a great way to start off.
All of these things combined would make me extremely nervous to hire Angie on a day that is so very important to me. However, she has many, many positive reviews. So if you're important enough to slide into her busy schedule, good luck!
