Kari from Wedding Day Chicago was wonderful to work with! My now-husband and I are both absent-minded creative types who generally struggle with organizing. We'd certainly never organized a big party before and we were getting increasingly overwhelmed. It reached a point where we knew we would need a good day-of coordinator. We contacted Kari about 3 months before our wedding, which is a little late in the game. But she set our minds at ease and reassured us that she could definitely help us make our special day happen smoothly. She was also willing to work within our budget and come up with a package that suited our needs. Super helpful! Throughout the remainder of the planning process, Kari became an extremely valuable resource of practical advice, organization, and confidence. When wedding day finally came, we knew we were in good hands. Kari did a great job communicating with vendors, helping to wrangle stray family members for photos, and especially helping us and the wedding party rehearse for the ceremony. She also helped set up our DIY table centerpieces for the reception, which is so, so appreciated. And she did it all with grace and a smile. Overall, we would highly recommend Kari for wedding coordination/planning. I don't know what we would've done without her!

We hired Wedding day Chicago (Kari) to be our officiant & day of coordinator for our wedding - We couldn't recommend her enough to anyone who is getting married!! Officiant Service: Kari took the time to get to know us & ensure that we felt comfortable with every part of the ceremony. Outside of scheduled sessions, she continued to learn about our relationship through very thoughtful survey questions and follow-up questions about our relationship. She took all of our asks and incorporated the most special parts of our relationship into our big day. We receive multiple compliments about she wove our personal stories into the special bond of marriage. It was an emotional day, but she made it unforgettable! Day-Of-Coordinator Service: KARI SAVED THE DAY! We decided to hire Kari for day of coordinating a month and a half before our wedding - It's easy to say that we would have been lost without her direction. She effortlessly worked with all of our vendors, constantly checked in for schedule updates, and most importantly, made the day stress free. Her assistant was also the sweetest to work with & they went above and beyond to make our wedding day as perfect as it was. Outside of her professionalism, she is an absolute gem of a human being to work with! We couldn't' be more grateful for her dedication throughout the whole process.

We are so grateful to have had Kari as our Day Of Coordinator. I knew from the start that Kari was going to be excellent. But I realized Kari was exceptional when the vendors and my family were commenting on how great working with Kari was. I chose Kari because just from speaking with Kari it was clear that she understood my vision and was very quick and agile in helping me figure out how to achieve my vision. When speaking with vendors, I was disappointed how a lot of coordinators were trying to enforce their generic Chicago cookie-cutter wedding timeline on us. What makes Kari exceptional is that she is great at understanding her client's vision, even if it is something foreign or new to her, which was the case in our situation. We wanted to incorporate both an Eastern and Western ceremony in a very short timeline. She is great at running with her client's vision and figuring out how to make it work. In addition to her usual roles like coordinating with all vendors, she goes above and beyond while not being over bearing with communication when we were already so overwhelmed with wedding planning. Choosing Kari as our wedding coordinator is THE BEST decision I made for our wedding.

Kari assisted my husband and I with planning our wedding from out of state. We had the ambitious idea of planning a wedding in Chicago while living in Nebraska. Hands down, this wedding would not have been the success it was without Kari. She not only provided the best input regarding the wedding (timeline, vendors, details), but went above and beyond with travel advice for our guests, advice on personal outings while in the city, and any miscellaneous questions we threw her way.
