FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system for Weddings is a flat fee that is inclusive of one session with the couple, wedding rehearsal, and officiating the wedding. For life coaching/spiritual counseling, and meditation instruction, I quote the median for a suggested variable fee per session of between 35 and 95, based on the clients ability to pay. Pre-marital counseling is also a variable fee beginning at $75 to $125 a session. Since pre-marital counseling is usually a short term counseling relationship of between 3 to 6 sessions, if the couple commits to three sessions I offer the flat fee of $250 if the couple commits to 6 sessions I offer a flat fee of 475, paid before or at the first session. If the couple needs or desires more than the contracted number of sessions additional sessions will be offered at $80 a session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Life Coaching/Spiritual Counseling: I recommend a 10 minute consult before the client hires me or another counselor. I meet with the client in a session that is between an hour and 1 hour and a half. In any session I seek to help the client get clear on any issue they bring to the session and often conclude each session with possible steps the client may take in working on goals or life issues between sessions. frequency of session depends on the client and what they are bringing, but is usually once a month, but can be as frequent as weekly if there is some urgency to the clients needs. Wedding Officiant: I meet with the couple in one session to go over vows and what the wedding cerimony will look like. as officiant I see myself as guiding and leading the whole wedding ceremony from when the wedding party processes in to the wedding party recessing, thus I also am always present at a wedding rehearsal and do recommend that there be a wedding rehearsal. On the wedding day I seek to arrive at least an hour before the wedding time (or when the bride and groom ask me to arrive) to be available as needed and to offer any last minute arrangements that may arise. Pre-Marital Counseling: Usually premarital counseling takes place within 3 to 6 sessions. I provide the couple with a set of exercises in the form of a questionnaire that each are to fill out on their own without consulting each other. The questionnaire is then the basis of each session. The questionnaire includes a visualization exercise. If needed or desired Meditation instruction: This is largely dictated by the client and what sort or sorts of meditation techniques they wish to learn. I offer training in silent sitting/breathing meditation. guided visualization. Silent prayer, meditative reading and praying with Icons.
