Introduction: We are so excited to have been serving students and families since 2014! Our mission is to help students of all ages and levels reach their highest learning potential. iAchieve Learning offers six main educational services which include tutoring for all ages and subjects, ACT/SAT test prep, music lessons, academic coaching, college planning, and educational testing. Every student learns at a different pace and has their own unique strengths and weaknesses. All of our tutors and instructors do go through an extensive hiring process which consists of submitting their resume, application, doing an interview, going through and passing a background check, and being trained by our team. Our tutors and instructors are trained to recognize these and help prepare a learning plan to help your child succeed. We can't wait to meet you and learn more about your child and needs! Below is a quick overview of some of our specialties and you can learn more on our website! ACT/SAT Test Prep - We specialize in 1:1 test prep that is customized to your child and all of our sessions are currently taking place online through Zoom. - During the summer months of June and July we offer both an ACT and SAT Strategy Bootcamp to get a quick overview of the test and to learn some quick strategies. - We offer an in-person free practice ACT and SAT each month at the Des Plaines Library. You can register directly on our website. Our process for test prep includes the following: 1. Take a free practice ACT or SAT test with us 2. Do a free phone consultation to analyze your child's results and to determine which test is best for them 3. Choose from one of our three test prep packages (this depends on the student's baseline score and how much test prep time they have) 4. We will match you up with one of our test prep instructors! Discounted Summer Tutoring Packages During the summer we offer discounted Summer Tutoring Packages for families in groups of 10-sessions, 20-sessions or 30-sessions. These sessions can be used in the months of June, July, and August and can be used for multiple students within the same family and multiple subjects. Our Summer Tutoring programs are perfect for: - Students that have been affected by the coronavirus. - Students that want to get ahead. - Students that failed a class and need extra guidance. - Students that are currently taking a summer school course and need the extra assistance. - Students that need to prepare for the ACT or SAT. - Students that want to learn something new.

iAchieve Learning tutors have worked with both of our daughters over the past five years, teaching them math (algebra, geometry, advanced), executive functioning, and test prep/ test taking skills. Sarah Kochan has been our primary tutor. She is knowledgeable and explains things well, giving the student plenty of encouragement when applying a new concept. Also Sarah is very kind, positive, warm, and friendly - the girls really enjoy working with her. We highly recommend Sarah and iAchieve Learning!

We worked closely with iAchieve Learning to help our son prepare for the upcoming ACT. He struggled with math, and the tutor created a plan and strategies to help him receive a good score. When I was at iAchieve, I was given the one-to-one attention I needed to succeed academically and get into some of my "reach colleges". Sarah and all of her tutors are welcoming and care about all of their clients on a personal level. Because of their determination, encouragement, and resources, I was able to improve drastically on the ACT and do well in my AP Calculus class. I highly recommend working with iAchieve.

What a difference iAchieve made for our HS Junior! Our daughter took the free ACT test assessment from iAchieve the summer before her Junior year. The test results were quick and very detailed. iAchieve owner, Sarah Kochan, took the time to review her results with us and inquired about her learning style and future goals. Sarah then provided us with various plans that included her recommended approach and possible schedule. We did not feel any pressure to move forward or get a big sales pitch. Sarah matched our daughter up with Todd Ackland for weekly ACT meetings over Zoom. Todd was encouraging, reliable, and professional. He pushed her when she needed it the most and had compassion for how stressful and difficult Junior year can be at times. With the help of the team at iAchieve, our daughter improved her ACT score by 7 points! We will be using iAchieve again for our rising Freshman in a couple of years.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
During the regular school year, we process all of our billing on a monthly billing cycle through credit card (we accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express). The majority of our clients receive 60-minute weekly tutoring sessions but we can customize a plan that fits for what you're looking for! During the summer months of June, July and August, we offer families discounted Summer Tutoring Packages in groups of 10-sessions, 20-sessions, or 30-sessions and these can be used for multiple subjects and multiple kids in the same family. The discounted Summer Packages do expire on August 31st and then go back to our regular monthly biling. For ACT/SAT test prep, we offer 3 different test prep packages which include an 18-hour package, a 24-hour package and a 30-hour package. For all three packages we offer a pay-in-full payment or a payment plan.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, we like to first have a phone call to go over some basic information and to see exactly what your needs are. We then determine a specific plan for your child and based upon your availability and needs, we reach out to our instructors to find the best match. Here at iAchieve Learning, we truly value communication and want to ensure that you are heard and your needs are met.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As the Owner and founder of iAchieve Learning, I have a Master's degree in Mathematics and taught high-school math from 2006-2016. During that timeframe, I taught subjects ranging from Pre-Algebra through Precalculus and I also specialize in helping students with both ACT and SAT test prep. I have personally worked with thousands of students and families over the past 18 years through both teaching and private tutoring. All of our instructors do have specialties in various areas and you can view their bios and credentials on our website.
