Amy is great and you can tell she is going to treat your dog like it's her dog. Our dog looks forward to her twice a week 30 minute walk. You can tell our dog loves the extra attention she gets on those days. In addition, Amy lets her out if we are going to be gone to long on a weekend and also is going to be taking car of her while we go out of town. She always leaves a detailed note which we appreciate. Amy is very flexible and gets back to you right away when you email her. I would recommend Amy and Dogs Love Running to anyone that wants their dog treated like they should be!! If you asked my dog I think on a scale from 1-5 she would give Amy and Dogs Love Running a 10!

I found Dogs Love Running! in the fall of 2013 and could not be happier with them. They are very accommodating and flexible with their visits, in the first place, which is very important to me as my schedule can sometimes change at the last minute. When they visit, they always leave a brief note about what occurred during the visit (for example, letting me know if the dog ate dinner while they were there), as well as a personal note about their interaction with the pets. More importantly, though, they love my pets as much as I do. I know that my pets are well-taken care of during their visits, and I never worry about my animals. And my animals seem to love the visits, as I'm told they always run to greet the caregiver and behave as if she is their family. It doesn't get much better than that!

Dogs Love Running is a dog walking service, but even better. They'll take your dog for a run. Excellent for high energy breeds, like our lab pup. Runs start at 15-minutes and can be increased in 15-minute increments. We usually schedule 30-minute runs ($19.95) for our dog.Amy (the owner) and her employees have done an excellent job! We have been customers for months, and wouldn't think of going to anyone else. We schedule multiple runs a week and our dog absolutely loves it!Amy does a really good job of scheduling a consistent runner, so that your dog gets to know him or her. It's also nice to know that there isn't a different person coming in and out of our house everyday. Amy and the regular runner get to know your dog and are always accommodating if your dog has any special needs or requests. We also love the daily reports - the runner leaves a little note to let you know how your dog did on the run each day.Overall, I cannot say enough good things about Dogs Love Running. Amy does a great job; she is very responsive, flexible when scheduling changes come up, and most importantly she is someone we can trust with our dog and our home.

I cannot give enough positive feedback about DogsLoveRunning, since we joined in August 2013. We have two dogs--Sammie, a 3 yr. old Westie, and Titan, a now 9 month old Australian Shepherd. Our walkers alternate between Amy, and Risa. Risa is PHENOMENAL.Our arrangement is the walker comes for a 30 min. session mid-day, and is fantastic at taking both dogs for a walk, bathroom break, and playing with them until I can come home from teaching. If the weather is snowy or rainy, they adjust as well, which I love, because they still give the dogs the time and attention needed from being home alone. The walkers leave a note with a checklist of whats been done during the session too, which is great for communication.Ive been home once or twice when theyve come for the walk, and Titan and Sammie are so excited to greet them, so I know there is a bond formed, and I whole-heartedly trust DogsLoveRunning taking care of my pets. Amy is wonderful at managing and modifying the schedule, since I teach, and often have breaks or some random days off. Shes also great at responding to emails if I ask a request, such as administering medicine, using a different leash, or altering their feeding schedule. DogsLoveRunning is a fantastic resource I highly recommend to utilize, and you can genuinely see the companys passion reflected in your dogs demeanor from the walkers time, love, and care!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge by time, not service, which means that we can do anything you'd like within the time you purchase. Our dog walking, dog running, and pet sitting visits start at 15-minutes for $16 and go up only $5 for every consecutive 15-minutes (i.e. 30-minute visit is $21, 45-minutes is $26, etc..). There is NO additional fee for weekend visits.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All of our new clients are given a complimentary meet and greet where we come out to your home to meet you and your pet(s). At this time, we want to learn more about your pooch and what routine you think will work best at each of their visits with us. We are also happy to answer any questions you have.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best advice I can give anyone regarding their pet is to do your research. Be sure to read online reviews from actual customers and don't be afraid to ask for references from their current clients. The safety and happiness of your pet is of utmost importance and this is the best way to ensure they will be in good hands while you're away.
