Working with Fredd Villa was awesome. Sonically, he knew just how to achieve the sound I was looking for. I learned so much during the whole process and he never made me feel that my questions were unwelcome. I would definitely work with Fredd again.Oct 25, 2019
Fred is great! He was very professional and had quite the sharp ear! He immediately knows what spots in a track need touch up and the best way to do it. It allowed me to focus on the music and get things done in a timely manner. Would absolutely work him again.Nov 16, 2019
Fred helped me capture my idea and works his best to keep on the same page and idea. Patience and professionalism at its finest!Oct 16, 2019
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For multiple consecutive session days (3 days in a row or more) ONLY: I will ask for a deposit to secure the studio booking. If you feel you need to postpone or cancel, please notify me as soon as possible to allow the studio to recover and be in a position to take on another booking. Failure to give fair warning for postponing or cancellations will result in un-refundable deposits.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I typically like to get on a call to discuss the project and get a better sense of what they're going for. I did create a checklist for this kind of conversation and can be downloaded on my site's homepage, under "Schedule time to talk about your next project" button.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I was a self-taught musician for several years before going to music school for jazz drums and percussion. I later finished a degree in Audio and Digital Production from Columbia College Chicago.
