I found Adam on a craigslist add with only about 6 weeks left before our wedding. I was overwhelmingly surprised with my choice. During my initial phone call with Adam I got a feeling that he was very professional as well as passionate about his job. Adam gave us the choice to either meet in person or to meet via Skype. We chose to have a face to face meeting with him via Skype which was easy to fit into my schedule. Once we "met" Adam on that conference call he made us feel very comfortable with how the wedding was going to go. Adam provided us with ideas for the general order of events which helped us out a ton. On the day of our wedding, Adam exceeded our expectations. He arrived to the venue early, he had put together a play list that was a perfect mixture of our personalities, and he even was able to mix in almost all of our special requests (we sent him the list of special requests only 4 days before the wedding). Overall, I would recommend Adam to anyone getting married if they want to have one less thing to worry about on that day.

Adam Dawson did a kick ass amazing job being the dj for my wedding on Sept.3 2016. Everyone said he did a great job and loved the music and said everyone enjoyed themselves and are considering you guys for upcoming events. Thanks so much for getting the party started on my special night.

Adam was great spinning for a 45th high school reunion, playing a mix of songs from the past 40+ years. He did a fine job accommodating the small room and lousy acoustics. I would definitely hire him again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No complicated pricing here. Standard DJ set is 5 hours. $700 for weddings requiring a MC and full consultation. $400 for a standard party. $200 for in house DJ using your equipment. $100 an hour for every hour after 5 hours.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Started in college for side money to finance equipment for my band. Actually liked being a DJ more than playing guitar so I just kept doing it. Because I'm in the military I've had the opportunity to DJ all over the United States, so I basically take it everywhere I go.
What types of customers have you worked with?
School dances, weddings and parties. I also in house DJ at bars and clubs.
