Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Don't over pay for pet care. Invest in a pet care specialist that will help you save thousands over the lifetime of your pet. With in-home health care needs, your pet can stay comfortable and safe while you are away! Have a great vacation knowing your pup/cat/reptile/bird is safe and happy while you are away. I offer in-home pet care and pet health consulting. Pet sitting services are done in my home, or yours. I travel up to 10 miles from my house, in Glendale Heights. I specialize in hard-to-care pets such as those medically fragile or have temperament issues. I offer dog walking within a 5 mile radius of my house. I offer discounts for weekly/monthly contracts. I have worked as a veterinary nurse for the past 11 years, so I am more than qualified to handle all your pet care needs. I have extensive experience with diabetics, renal disease, cardiac conditions and hypo/hyper thyroid disease. I offer doggie/kitty daycare, nail trims, ear cleaning, medication/fluid administration, medicated baths, and patient advocacy. Pets will enjoy their time boarding at our house. They will have that homey feel and even their own bed to sleep in if they like. I love to let friendly dogs run around with my dog, with full supervision, so they feel more like they are at a doggie daycare (first floor). Dogs will have full run of the second floor, unless owners request they are crated. Aggressive animals will be given their own room and walked four times daily, unless otherwise arranged. Cats will also enjoy their own room complete with bed/couch to sleep on. Cat scratch carpets will make your furry feline feel right at home. Cat's and dog's rooms are completely separated from each other to ensure privacy, and a stress free environment. Only 2 boarders will board at any given time unless related, and will be given their own room. Unless otherwise specified, all boarders will be fed twice daily and socialized at least four times daily. There is a veterinarian also on site most weekend evenings that would be able to support me if any of your pets needs are beyond my scope. I love to send picture updates on how your pet is doing while you are away! Patient advocacy is well-known about the human medical side, but just beginning to emerge in veterinary medicine. Patient advocates help improve care by increasing comprehension between medical personnel and families, and by arranging after hospital care plans. Basically, I can help you understand what is medically happening with your pet when you visit the vet so your pet gets the best possible care, and I help with the healing process afterwards. For example, I can come over and teach you how to give SQ fluids or administer them for you. For pets that are hard to get out of the house I can come over and help you with nail trims, ear plucking/cleaning, and bathing. I can demonstrate how to pill your pet or do it for you if you are uncomfortable.

Dusty has looked after both of our dogs. Once was for almost two weeks while we were in Europe. She takes good care of them. She really knows what kind of health issues they might have takes care of them. Almost all Animals love her.

Dusty watched my Shiba Inu, Cooper. She was available last minute and took Cooper in for 3 days when I went out of town. I was going to board him at Pet Smart but their small lonely cubicles can't compare with a big home, large fenced in back yard, and an animal lover that is also a talented Vet Tech. It was an obvious choice to use Dusty! I think Cooper really enjoyed his time over there!

Dusty was great with my puppy. Made him feel right at home and he had a blast with her other two dogs! Received photos and videos immediately showing what a great time he was having. Have already booked dusty on multiple occasions and will do so whenever I need so in the future.

She is awesome! BJ loves going over there for boarding. As soon as he gets in the house he forgets all about us. Lol

Dusty has been walking my 2 dogs (12 year old and a 10 month old) for about 3 weeks. I have never had a stranger walk my dogs, so I was terrified to say the least, but knowing what I know now about Dusty, I obviously worried for no reason. She has done an amazing job with both dogs, particularly the pup, who used to pull on the leash during walks and now she doesn't- something i couldn't do in 8 months, she accomplished in a week. She sent either photos or videos from daily walks to give me a piece of mind that all was going well. Dusty offered plenty very good advises about better feeding habits, controlling unwanted behavior, and she even clipped by dogs nails (something i usually attempt to do myself, but drag my feet because I don't want to clip it too close), which shows you that she goes above and beyond and not many people these days do. I am not quite sure how I ended up getting so lucky to find her, but one thing is for sure, Dusty will walk my dogs as long as I have them or as long as she can do it; and if you want to be sure your pet is in good hands then I very strongly suggest you hire her. There is definitely something comforting about her that my dogs picked up on very quickly and her prices and great too. Best wishes to you and your pets:) Karolina
