She is the most wonderful dog sitter in the world! She cares so much for your pet and goes out of her way to let you know that your pet is receiving excellent care! I often get pictures and texts with how my dog is doing! There is nothing better than knowing that your pet is in great hands. I was referred to her from another client and would reccommend her as well!

Having just moved to the valley, we searched and interviewed for a dog sitter and walker for our 2 golden retrievers, Daisy and Chloe. We were so happy to find Daryn. She has been dependable, trustworthy, and safe with our dogs. The best recommendation comes from our dogs who cry with excitement when they see her. Their display of affection is validation that we made the right choice.

Sarah from Pet First Pet Care Dog Walking & Pet Sitting offers a phenomenal service!! She is quick to respond and very accommodating. She quickly connected me with Amanda her assistant who offered an equally phenomenal customer service. When your pets are truly your family, its tough to trust them to others, but this duo left me at ease & I was able to enjoy my trip out of town. I plan to begin using them regularly! I highly recommend them, and something tells me my two dogs do too.

I was very nervous about leaving my cats with a pet sitter for the first time as I have a 17 year old cat who requires daily medication. Eve sent me pictures and updates the entire week and I was confident in her ability to handle my "boys".

Sherry is a wonderful pet sitter. She loves all pets, unusual pets too. Our daughter has a menagerie of animals. We have two Roborovski Dwarf Hamsters, a hedge hog, a tropical fish tank and a goldfish tank and a Flying Squirrel. Many of our pets have different feeding instructions and enjoy fresh veggies and fruit, that needs prepared daily. Sherry was very attentive to all of the different instructions for caring for each and everyone of our daughters pets while we went to visit my mother. We were only able to take our two dogs to grandmas but Sherry would have loved them too.

Judy is the absolute best! We reached out to Judy because we needed a dog sitter because our puppy (a American bull dog/Pittie mix) had gotten a cold and we didn't want to leave her alone all day while we worked. Within 10 minutes of reaching out, we had an appointment for her to come meet our puppy and meet with us. And she was absolutely wonderful with our puppy! If you need someone to watch your pets, Judy is the person to call!

Carole did an excellent job caring for our four dogs while we were out of town. Our dogs liked her immediately because she knew how to make them feel at ease. She followed our instructions to the letter and the dogs were happy and in excellent condition when we came home. We will definitely call Carole the next time we go on a trip. So nice to leave your pets with someone who truly cares about them!

When our puppy, Baldur, was first being housebroken, Tortalulu (Sharon) was invaluable in helping us through that. She was always on time, we absolutely trusted her with our dog and our home. She always called if there was the slightest change. She is so good with Baldur, our neighbors thought she was family!

Emily has impressed me so far with her professionalism. I have had other pet sitters before who are not as prepared as her. I haven't even met her for the first visit and am in love with her organization and attention to detail!

Melissa was excellent with our shy cat and loving with our gregarious cat. She sent us photos too. Our trip was extended because of an emergency and we felt totally confident that Melissa was taking care of everything. After years of various cat sitters I rate Melissa as number one. I had total confidence in her.

Highly reccomend! Michael watched my two cats over thanksgiving while I was home with family. He was very professional and has a real passion for animals. My male cat is afraid of most men, but he was very comfortable with Michael on the first visit. I could tell the cats were very well taken care of while I was gone. I have worked with several other pet sitters in the area and could tell a noticeable difference in my cats behavior after being watched by Michael compared with others. They were much happier when I got home. I will definitely be working with him again!

I hired Paul's pet care service to take care of my furry, very spoiled dogs and cats for the weekend. Paul was extremely prompt and thorough in his communications with me and handled my requests like a pro. I came home from my trip and all pets were happy and comfortable and I appreciated the recap note upon my return. Paul has established trust with me caring for our pets and our home. I highly recommend his services.

I received Cheyenne, my black lab, at about 1 year old. She was very stubborn and hard to handle when I received her. I hired Honor Roll Dog Training to help me get her under control. Kathy, Cheyenne's trainer, had her sitting, laying, going to her place, walking without pulling me, and catching, all in 5 weeks of training. Kathy trained Cheyenne in my home with a very gentle hand. I highly recommend her if you have a dog in need of training or want to take your dog to a higher level.

How much does it cost to hire a house sitter?

House-sitting can be a lifesaver when you’re leaving town for any length of time. Whether you work remotely, you’re taking a much-needed vacation, or you just want to road-trip for a few days, it’s wise to have a pro keep an eye on your house and pets while you’re gone. Your home is more likely to stay safe and you won’t have to wrangle the kitty into a kennel to travel with you. The national average pet-sitting price ranges between $20 and $30. Pet-sitting and house-sitting costs will vary based on where you live in the country and regional labor rates. Another factor in cost is how long you want the house-sitter to stay. Some people prefer to have the house-sitter stay the night at their house, perhaps to care for an elderly pet or simply to keep a watchful eye on the home at all times. Overnight stays will cost more, ranging anywhere from $50 to $100, depending on services provided. For day visits, house-sitting and pet-sitting prices will increase incrementally the longer the visit and the more service you want performed. For example, a quick 10-minute visit to feed and walk the pet and bring in the mail could be $12.50, a 25-minute visit could be $18, a 40-minute visit $25, and a 50-minute visit $32. How much should you pay for a pet sitter?

Pet sitting provides your precious pet with in-home care. A pet-sitter can make a brief visit during the day to provide snacks, playtime or affection, or stay at your house for one or more nights to tend to your pet. Prices for pet-sitting will vary based on length of the visit. Nationally, pet sitting prices range from $20 to $30, although prices run higher for your sitter to stay the night. Prices will also be affected by where you live in the country. Here are some examples of average pet-sitting prices based on length of time and region:

        • 30-minute visit: $17 in a small Texas town.
        • 30-minute visit: $25 in Southern California.
          • 45-minute visit: $28.
          • 60-minute visit: $32.
        • Overnight stay (10 hours): $50 in Texas.
        • Overnight stay (10 hours): $85 in Southern California.
          • 12 hours: $100.
          • 24 hours: $200. This is a good option for a sick, elderly or brand-new pet that needs constant supervision.
