Awesome, professional handyman. Quality work, friendly down-to-earth attitude. Would hire again.Jun 10, 2019Verified
Joe was awesome. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a handyman and will for sure hire him again.Feb 28, 2019Verified
I decided to hire Joe for a drywall sanding and texturing job due to all of his great reviews. We talked on the phone and I sent him the requested photographs of the walls needing repair. We then set up an appointment only for him to cancel on me 15 minutes after he was supposed to arrive. My wife needlessly took a day off of work to make sure someone was home while the work was being completed. On the reschedule for a future date, Joe came the day prior instead and surprised me when he rang the doorbell. He looked at the walls needing repaired and left. A few hours later, Joe contacted me letting me know he is not willing to do the job I hired him for. Joe knew from the beginning what the job entailed and strung me along for a few weeks needlessly. My wife and I lost money and time by Joe’s unprofessionalism as a so called handyman. I am very disappointed with Joe. Apologies only go so far.Jan 15, 2020Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge $50.00 an hour plus material. Depending on the scope of the project, I will bundle the cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Once I have responded to a request, I generally will ask a few questions to get a thorough understanding of the scope of the project. I then make a proposal that is equitable for my client and myself.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I owned four homes built prior to 1928. One in Boston, built in 1898, another in Boston built 1928, one in La Grange IL built in 1894 and another in La Grange built in 1928. Let's just say, I've had over 30 years of "on the job" training.
