I hired JT as my personal trainer almost two years ago. I weighed 145 lbs, very little of which was muscle. After two years of following JT's training and diet program (6 days per week in the gym, 4 of those with JT), I weigh 182lbs (see progress pic in JT's profile). Currently, JT is helping me prepare for a men's physique competition. JT's commitment to my health and natural body building goals has been unwavering over the past two years. As an ex-professional athlete I have had numerous trainers over the last 20 years of my life. I am also a health and fitness nerd and a woman of science. I feel that I am fit to critically evaluate Shawn as a trainer. With that being said if they had a 6-star option I would give it to him. He is truly and exceptional trainer. Up to date with the newest research studies and findings, just extremely knowledgeable. He is motivating and funny and knows just how to maximize a work out. I honestly do not have enough good things to say about him. He is flexible and reasonable. I drive over 30 minutes just to get a session with him and its well worth the drive! These days good trainers are VERY hard to find. I give the highest recommendation to him for anyone who is looking for a trainer.
Ray Richardson is one of the best Personal Trainers I've ever worked with. He helped me set and reach goals. Ray's guidance and direction opened me up to a whole new level of fitness.

Great functional workouts that utilize body weight exercises and outdoor activities. Nice balance of cardio, strength, and endurance. Workouts vary from week-to-week so things are always fresh. Lastly, Mike is a great guy to be around so I always look forward to the next workout!
I have trained with Chris twice. Th first time I had to stop due to lack of time. I looked him up again because he was effective. I was really happy with the changes I saw in my body. This time around is no different. I lost 2% body fat in the first week. Before we begin each session he asks me how I feel and if anything hurts. He tailors my workouts based on my feedback. I've had other trainers but none have have even bothered to ask how I'm feeling. They've had some program that I have to follow. This is what sets him apart from the other trainers and it is what makes him particularly effective. Every session is different so I never get bored. Not only am I losing weight but I am also learning more about fitness. I can utilize that knowledge to tailor my own workouts outside of my sessions with him. I'm really happy with the sessions and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to make a change in their lives.
Best trainer in naperville or illinois area for that matter. I've had my fair share of "so called trainers", it doesn't get any better than this. I recently had a training session with Becky. It was amazing!!!! Not only does she bring her charisma and passion for this field, but also her extensive knowledge of the body. This sets Becky a part from other trainers I have had whose only education base if an online certificate. It makes me more confident knowing that I will actually be seeing results in spite of my past injuries. Becky knows EXACTLY how to cater to my specific needs and I am super excited to continue training with her! Its also a plus to find out Becky is a licensed massage therapist. I will be booking an appointment soon, I know my body will need it even more after our work out sessions!
CC is the best trainer I have ever worked with. He listened to my needs and goals, designed workout programs that pushed me. He mixed up the workouts to keep challenging my body. I accomplished personal best I never thought were possible. Give him a call...you won't be disappointed.

Dan was one of the best, not only did he give me the discipline and exercise schedule, but he also put me on a nutrition plan. Dan put me on a path to Success!! I highly recommend Dan. I've been to several Trainers in the past, who don't even come close to Dan's experience and skill. In my opinion, he's the best in Vegas.
I am so glad I found Sergio. I have changed so many trainers because I wasn't seeing progress and I wasn't satisfied with them. I have seen great progress in such a small amount of time. Sergio is an amazing trainer and I love the fact that his gym is private. Sergio and his girlfriend Jackie are the nicest people I've met. No matter what they will always greet you with a smile. Often times I get lazy and don't feel like going to the gym but because of these two, I go religiously. I am so very happy with Sergio and Jackie and how amazing they are. I have recommended them to my friends and family. I love coming here and I will continue to come here for years to come. They have gone above and beyond to make sure their clients are comfortable and they have gone above and beyond to make sure they accommodate me keeping my schedule in mind. Whenever I change my schedule, which is often, Sergio is happy to do it without complaining.
I went to Chris for sport-specific training and my results were great. Not only did I notice my own results, but I would notice his other clients results when I saw them come in for their training. What sets Chris apart from all other trainers is not only his knowledge of training and nutrition, (which is as good as you'll find anywhere) but his way of explaining it to you in very easy to understand terms. The mark of a good teacher and coach is explaining to clients/students in as simple as possible and Chris is the best at that. Because of him, I decided I wanted to make a career as a Strength Coach and he is a great person to model myself after. I would advise anyone to go see him no matter what their goals are and to do it as soon as possible because there is going to come a point where he becomes too busy and is no longer able to add anymore clients. He is one of the best in the country at what he does and those people do not go unnoticed for very long.
Steve is one of the best trainers. I'll tell you why from my personal experience with him & how he is such a great trainer. Steve, as my trainer, helped me in loosing 50 lbs & obtaining a 18% body fat (something that I couldn't even imagine being in my mid 30s). Steve also helped me gain more self confidence & self worth through the process which lead to a holistic, healthier, & happier me! Not only did he lead me to these great successes, I know many others he has lead to success as well. He is the best personal trainer no matter what your goals are, who you are, & what boundaries you may have. Steve joins you on your journey to becoming a better you. He is extremely motivating, inspiring, & great at keeping you accountable. He will push you to accomplish more than you could do on your own. Because he has extensive education & experience, you can feel safe letting him push you past your own boundaries in order to reach that healthier &happier you! I have to mention, I have tried so many trainers & I am highly critical of them. I would say 90% are bad, 9% are good, & 1% are excellent. Steve is one of the 1% of excellent trainers. Danielle was an amazing personal trainer. Warm but professional, she's extremely knowledgeable about every kind of sports injury and will work with you to gain strength safely. She is patient yet firm, and motivated me to work through exercises even when I wanted to give up. I highly recommend her for anyone who wants a true partner in weight loss, fitness, or healthy life style goals.

Tony was my personal trainer for a local weight loss competition. Despite my nervousness and uncertainty, he helped me to focus on changing my eating habits and provided intense workouts that were designed for my level. I love my Personal Trainer, Brian. I am VERY particular about Trainers. I always pick one by watching them work with their clients. I assess the results of their clients and their own personal results. A Trainer needs to look like a trainer. Brian is one of the best. He is not a chatter box. He is quietly effective and he means business. He focuses on your form, pushes you tirelessly, changes the workout constantly to confuse my body, and has helped me become more stable (I used to trip and fall all the time, weird, I know). My results have been the best testimonial. I have lost 30 pounds and 6 inches around the waist with Brian. My whole body has trimmed down. My whole goal was to have a more lean body, not buff or overly muscular. He tailors my workout for my needs. It is funny, because I get asked about my Trainer every few days. He truly is the best. I can't say enough things about him. I hired Brian 3 years ago. It's one of the best gifts I have given to myself. I go to him 3 times a week, which I recommend.
I met up with Steve about 6 months before my first bodybuilding competition. Before the training sessions I knew little to nothing about bodybuilding. He took me step through step getting ready for the show; from posing, diet, training, ect. Day of the show, Steve even got a backstage pass to make sure I was ready to go, helping with the last minute adjustments. He even bought a ticket to the evening show to watch me take home my first trophy in the sport and was there to congratulate me after. I'm completely satisfied with the service I got, very reasonable, and I still use Steve to this day. I would have never got this far with my physique without his help - hands down the best trainer I've had!
About five years ago I sought out the help of Sam Ziserson for problems I was having with hip and leg pain. Frankly, as a woman in my mid-fifties , I was worried that I was experiencing the inevitable aches and pains of middle age. Sam worked with me, focusing on my specific issues and I am very happy to report, I no longer experience any of the pain I once felt. I am stronger, and happier knowing that my work with Sam prepares me for a healthier future. Sam brings a sensitivity to training that I think is probably pretty rare. His is a whole person approach. He always meets me where I am, but is not afraid to push me just that little bit more to help me achieve real fitness. I would not consider working with any other trainer. After all, how many women my age can say that their twenty year old daughters have complemented them on how they look in a swim suit! One piece of course!
I had no idea what to expect my first session with Brandon - I've had personal trainers in the past, and didn't feel as though I took much from the experience, so I didn't expect much more than having someone to whom to be held accountable. Brandon has totally and completely changed my mind (and has hugely elevated the bar)! He is incredible! Not only did we (myself and a friend) have one session with Brandon, we bought a full package of ongoing sessions. Not only is he knowledgeable within his craft, he is really intuitive, and is excellent at tailoring programs to the particular individual's needs, wants and goals, and of course he's very helpful in setting those goals, pushing us to our limits and helping us realize we're a lot more capable than we thought before. I have an old injury, have been afraid of working out for years, and he talked me through it, and I feel stronger and healthier in just a few weeks than I ever have before. I highly recommend Brandon for your personal training and nutrition needs/goals/wants. Thank you Brandon for everything, and I hope continue to work with you for a long time to come.
