Raven, has been awesome. He has been everything that I was looking for in a trainer and more. He is very supportive and cares a lot about your personal goals. I am very glad that I selected him to do my training. My training is very personalized and I have many issues including nutrition and health that he has been able to address and is continuing to help me with. Raven is an awesome trainer! I have never had a personal trainer and Raven definitely made me feel very comfortable. Raven is extremely qualified and is very knowledgeable about all aspects of fitness, nutrition, and the human body. Although he kicks my butt every session the hour flies by! Before coming to Raven I was in physical therapy for hip pain, since working with Raven my hip pain has decreased enormously. Freakin Dr. Raven Flores the bestest and the most helpful Personal Trainer and Nutritionist you can find! He honestly can say is my First and my Last Personal Trainer/Nutritionist I am going to until the day I die. Raven is such a helpful person and he is passionate in what he does and always gives you so much support, encouragement, and criticisms based on what you do, eat, and exercise. And by asking small to big questions, Raven basically has all the answers with great background reasoning. He definitely knows what he is doing and very honest to what you need to hear! Either if it is based on your eating habits, exercise, and/or business. He is very punctual and will spend hours for you just to have your goals and success to be a reality!! I learned so much from him from training with him as well as learning what to eat and not to eat. He also has a great personality as well! He is such an outgoing, chill, and hilarious person to be around! He will tell you some awesome and hilarious stories that will just keep you a moment away from the pain of working out. I signed up with Raven on 2.21.2020 (The initial 1 hr consultation was easy to schedule, we discussed about my personal goals, He took my current measurements, went over package details and scheduling). Raven is very approachable, answers all your questions and lets you know what is realistic and what is not. He is detail oriented, he got me on the meal plan immediately after, The weekly meal plan, is a strict diet plan but has a variety of food combinations for each meal and if there is something you don't like, you could always reach out to him to ask for substitutes. (I replaced ice-cream with a date, salmon with chicken etc., he is there to answer your questions and raises a red flag on the substitutes that you've to be cautious with. I really appreciate his organized way of doing things, be it weekly meal plans or workout schedules. and he is available over the phone if you've ANY questions. Very responsive and friendly person. I've had only 2 personal sessions so far and I can say he knows his stuff, he starts from ground level, focussing on building your strength and muscles to attain the results you are after. The 1 hour sessions don't feel tedious or boring at all, it goes by so quickly, chatting with him and listening to his stories while working out. I find him encouraging , supportive and equally focused towards making my goals come true. Training with him gives me hope that anyone could have a beach body if you really want to have one. He never says its easy, but if you're up for the challenge, he will help you achieve it "irrespective of your current level of fitness". I found him respectful of race and religion, I had so many questions due to my dietary restrictions and he worked with me answering all the small and big questions and helping me find workarounds. I plan to be with him longterm and transform my body like I never did Before!! There is laughter, fun, training & Fitness all in 1 hour session - I absolutely enjoy my session with Raven!! I look forward to my next sessions and excited to find out what we will be doing that day., no two classes are the same, he custom creates the workouts based on your own ability and strength and each workout is fun, its not easy but its fun. Raven is by the far the best personal trainer I have ever met. When I first started with him, I was 250 lb and lost 25 lb within 2 months (meeting only twice a week...when I wasn't traveling for work, which by the way he was very willing to work around). His system draws from a lifetime of experience and a PhD in Kinesiology. He custom designed a specific exercise regime for my body type that was shocking effective. It is hard to describe how much progress I made. I did not expect the results I got. His insight into fat reduction and strength conditioning blew my mind. I learned more in a few sessions with Raven than I had in my entire life. Working with him, I realized how ineffective my past exercise experience was (I worked so hard for a lot fewer results). Not to suggest Raven won't push you hard (in fact, he'll push you to your limit), but it's incredible how he makes the session so fun and fast. For example, in the past, I avoided a "difficult" exercise because I was afraid of hurting myself or vomiting. With Raven's guidance, I was given the courage to go further than I ever had (without evening noticing!). When I threw up for the first time, we celebrated together! It was a rite of passage and I am very proud of testing my limits. If you want to lose fat in a sustainable way, Raven's whole body health philosophy will take you the distance. It's not a gimmick and it takes hard work, but he will get you to your desired weight and body shape faster than anyone out there. Don't sign up if you don't want to put in the work, because Raven expects your best effort. But if you are committed to his diet and exercise program and want to laugh a lot along the way, he's your guy. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I have a few different packages. Everyone has a different time line and goal. I do not punish anyone for needing to train longer than most. My price reflects my 28 years as a Leader in this Industry and my many other qualifications (Ph D. ,Nutritionist) and my incredible ability to achieve life changing results. You can find plenty cheaper, but none better.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?It starts with a conversation. I want to know what it is that the Client really wants, not just out of there bodies, but life in general. Then I use my 25 plus years of expertise and help piece it together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Ph D. in Kinesiology, 28 years as a Personal Trainer I am a Nutritionist and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. I have decades of experience as a Manager of Gyms and a former VP. of a few Major Fitness training gyms.
