Natalie is an amazing tutor and person! She is proficient in a variety of different subjects as well as SAT and AP prep! My daughter, who is a Junior in high school,was first introduced to Natalie back in November 2019. Prior to being with Natalie, my daughter was being tutored by another SAT tutor from a different agency. Her confidence with the prior tutor was at an all time low. Natalie stepped in and immediately turned the entire situation around! She was positive and reassuring! In no time, my daughter’s confidence was back up. After each tutoring session, Natalie would send both my daughter and myself a lengthy overview of everything that they had been covered in the tutoring session along with goals for the next session. Although Natalie was originally hired to tutor my daughter for the SAT that never took place due to Covid, she ended up tutoring her in AP Biology. My daughter said that she learned more in a couple of AP Biology tutoring sessions with Natalie than in the entire year in school! I would highly recommend Natalie! My pricing depends on needs and the amount of tutoring. Typically For a one-off session: $30/hour For multiple sessions: $25/hour
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before our first session, I like to setup a call or video chat to discuss goals for tutoring. I like to learn a little more about the student, his or her learning style, and the teaching styles he or she likes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two master's degrees - one in History and the other in Library and Information Science. I have been tutoring professionally for 3 years. I have tutored over 1200 hours with individuals and small groups. I have worked for test prep companies as well as on my own.
