Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: In the Greater Rockford area, we are one of the few training companies that will work with ALL dogs, including but not limited to pitbulls, Am. Staffs, and any dog with aggression issues. We do not subscribe to only one method of training, but instead we combine all of our knowledge and tailor it to YOUR dog's needs. We also specialize in teaching women how to handle dogs that they may have once believed to be too much for them, whether it be due to size, strength, or "attitude" of the canine. Our lead trainer is a women of average stature who has worked with countless women proving to them they can handle any dog with the right training and knowledge. The most rewarding part of our job is the seeing our client on the first visit. We meet someone that is scared, frustrated, and at wits end about their dog that they love but can't see themselves living with considering the current behavior. Within an hour, we leave someone with hope, and an end in sight to their dog's unacceptable behavior. Our most often heard phrase is "I can enjoy him again." We can help you breathe again, and make you smile and laugh again with your beloved canine companion.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Our most common jobs are shelter dogs, brought into the home with no manners and no idea of what they are allowed and not allowed to do. Often within 3 to 6 sessions, we can show you how to work your dog for what you want. We do not tell our customers how to live in their home with their dog (ie some people do not allow dogs on the furniture, while some find it endearing to cuddle during evening TV) we show our customers how to properly teach their dog how to live in their home with their boundaries in place.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Choosing a trainer for your canine is a very personal choice. I invite you to not only make your choice on price but also on the feel you get from speaking with the trainer. Call different trainers in the area and ask questions regarding their training techniques, and convey to them your expectations. Ask them if they feel they have the tools and experience to meet these expectations. By the end of the conversation you will know if this dog trainer is invested in your success, and if they have confidence and ability to not only work with your dog, but also teach you how to work with your dog when they leave.
