Founded in 2002 from a small office in Naperville, IL, Mr. Duct was born with a singular mission in mind: to improve the indoor air quality for the Greater Chicagoland community. The guys showed up at the beginning of the window provided (I know that doesn't always happen, is just a fact of life. Some jobs take more or less time.) They were polite, explained what they were going to do and why and went about it. Our two story, two system house was done under the estimated time. I knew what my ducts looked like before they started, and I checked each one when they were done and it was night and day difference. While they were working, I could hear the build up falling through the vents down, knew they were doing it properly. Did not get the "Live Video" of the ducts being cleaned, didn't really need it. There was absolutely zero attempt at upselling me on anything. I already passed on their info to our neighbor whom is in need of the same work. Thanks so much! Can already sense the difference from just a few days ago.

I’ve used this company for a couple different dryer vent issues. They always show up on time and do a good job. We had to replace a couple of sections of duct work for my dryer exhaust. The workers were quick and efficient. Would definitely use again for duct work jobs

Great deal. Arrived on time. Vents seemed clean, although I didn't see any camera footage or anything. The vent covers weren't cleaned, though. I definitely feel like I've had more thorough cleanings, but couldn't beat the price and availability. So overall, good value. I would hire again for that price.

I got several quotes from various duct cleaning services here on thumbtack. Mr. Duct was the only quote I received who was also NADCA certified, and after speaking with Keith, who was very polite and professional, ultimately convinced me to go with his company. His quote was the highest I received, but being NADCA certified convinced me it was still the better choice even with the higher quote. The reason for the three stars, however, is that for the price I paid I expected a little more. I have two furnaces and asked the techs to do my first story furnace first so that my 1 year old son can sleep as long as possible before being woken up. They agreed. However, they still did the second story first and (before I was able to prevent him) ended up walking in my sons room while sleeping, turned the lights on, and searched around for the vents, obviously waking him up and startling him. I know this is a loud process but it would've been nice to delay doing his room until the end as I had asked. Secondly, I was told in my quote I would receive a live video feed inside my vents as well as before and after pictures to fully detail how they looked before and after the work was performed. I asked the techs about this too when they arrived. All that was performed was the tech sticking his cell phone inside the vent opening a couple inches and taking a cell phone picture. They showed me this on two vents before the work was done. No after pictures were shown to me nor was a live video feed from inside the vents taken. Plus, I would've expected something more than a cell phone picture taken a few inches inside the vent to document their findings, especially since they are NADCA certified. Ultimately, this was my first duct cleaning and so I have nothing else to compare it to. However, for the price I paid, my expectations were quite a bit higher. Sorry the attached pictures did not rotate properly, btw.

At Mr. Duct, we offer free quotes to all of our customers, and offer free on-site estimates for commercial and industrial properties. Due to the fact that we offer a wide range of services, prices vary. Contact us today to tell us more about the services you’re interested in and receive your free quote.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we are contacted by a new customer, we speak with them to gather information about the type of property they have and the service(s) they are interested in. Once we gather all necessary information, we provide a quote over the phone, and are able to provide you with our next available date of service. We also send all of this information to our customers via email. Every customer is given a paper invoice at the time of service, receives an electronic copy of the invoice, and is also contacted approximately 30 minutes before our technician(s) arrives.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our technicians are trained extensively on-site by our senior technicians. All of our training is hands on, and includes aspects such as ladder safety.
