FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing of leather repair work is custom. How large is the damage, how severe is the wear, what is the color, are just a few variables. In addition, there is always a service charge which depends on the area where you live. This is a reasonable compensation for my time, vehicle use and gas. Inquire any time. With a picture and location I can provide exact pricing, not an estimate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With the Fibrenew franchise we have access to an intranet website where over 200 industry professionals share information daily. If at anytime one has a situation at hand, it is likely that a colleague has been through the same process and can provide helpful hints. That library is most extensive, constantly updated, and available 24/7/365. We also have online seminars, annual regional training sessions, and a Fibrenew International Convention every three years. Above is one of the was that enables us to provide a first class service to customers in the Chicagoland area.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We work a lot with leather repairs in the form of color applications on site. We also restore leather cushions when the surface is dry and cracking. That happens mostly on the leather sofa or leather chair seating areas. Rips and tears in leather can be repaired as well. Dogs and cats do damage to furniture. Scratches, rips holes in leather furniture beyond wear and tear can be repaired. Check out the before and after samples in the picture section.
