- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A "truck roll" fee dependent upon location -- usually $50. After that, I only charge for success: if I can't fix it because I don't have the equipment or knowledge to do so, I don't charge the customer. And I may refund the $50 if I didn't ask the right questions up front.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes -- I just completed some Udemy courses to improve my Web design skills. I have a number of other courses lined up on smart device programming.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had a long career with AT&T, but took a lucrative early retirement offer. So now I freelance!
