Introduction: I provide in-home guitar lessons throughout Lake County, IL. I have been teaching people how to rock since 2004, and have been playing and studying the guitar since 1985.
I teach with a very music-driven approach, as I have found it to be the most effective way to master the instrument. I will show you how to practice in an effective manner that gets the results you're looking for.

Joe is an incredible teacher who will not only give you the skills needed to succeed but also instill a passion for music that will stick with you throughout your life. I have never had a teacher who loves what they do as much as Joe loves music.

Before having Joe as a teacher, I wasn't really that great at playing the guitar, but after having a few months of lessons, he taught me how to practice and I learned a lot of things that my previous teacher didn't teach me.

Mr. Joe's guitar lessons were fun and you were able to learn a lot of awesome songs. The time I had his lessons helped taught me the proper ways of handling the guitar along with learning new techniques that were used by professionals. It was fun learning the songs you want to learn and that made the guitar lessons really fun and entertaining.

Joe is an awesome guitar instructor! The way he teaches, infusing guitar theory with learning popular songs kept me engaged in the lessons and pushed me to keep up with practice. I'd recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat!
