¡Ole! Spanish School Wheaton

Introduction: I come from a long line of artists and bring this to you as I treat the language arts in my Spanish teaching in a unique and groundbreaking way as I get you to talk Spanish! No notes or memorization drills or text books—- instead, dialoguing, dynamic visuals, pneumatic device and pictoral images are used to allow the student to absorb the language through the tongue and ear similar to how children learn new words conversation and concepts. As well, as a native speaker who speaks Spanish on a daily basis there a number of non-tangible factors that I bring to my students from a lived Spanish reality that my students especially appreciate---everything from rhymes, to folk wisdom, idioms, etymology, to general Latin American cultural cues. With me you get a full Spanish/Hispanic immersion as you learn to Speak Spanish in 6 months! I have met so many wonderful people who are many different paths, learning Spanish for many different reasons. The learning process----learning new concepts, new words and new grammar is a triumph for everyone and I have shared in this experience many times. Learning a new language and having the ability to express yourself in this new tongue is one of the most enriching experiences in this age of communication and information.
