Introduction: Owner Doug Schmidt has been in the construction business for over 35 years. In that time he has performed nearly every task in the construction trade including land development, condominium conversions, and complete home transformations. Doug has also built over 100 homes from the ground up. After decades of seeing handymen and nearby roofing contractors in Indiana cut corners and provide poor workmanship to unsuspecting homeowners, Doug started Equity Builders Roofing in 2002 to give the community the ability to work with someone who has high standards, delivers superior craftsmanship, and who will genuinely take care of you as if you were family.
