FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A typical wedding, at your chosen venue, including planning and pastoral session(s), rehearsal, and ceremony average $300 and above, depending on location, ceremony type, and time requirements. Simpler weddings are available for a smaller fee. However, Holy Name of Mary and Father Daniel strive to offer the Sacraments of Christ's love to all who seek them regardless of financial ability. Please contact Father Daniel if you have significant financial struggles pertaining to your wedding day.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For your convenience, Father Daniel is happy to hold the first planning and pastoral session, with the couple, in-person in the North Austin area or online via video chat. The first session will allow the couple and Father Daniel to get to know one another, discuss the beauty of marriage, and begin to make ceremony choices. Your session with Father Daniel isn't a test, it's a time of celebrating the love you have found in your relationship with each other! Further sessions, if any, depend on the need and desire of the couple and the direction of the priest. Traditional marriage courses are not required, but may be of benefit to some couples. Should you both, as a couple, feel that you desire additional marriage preparation, including relationship inventories and pastoral conversation, it may be scheduled with Father Daniel for a separate fee.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
