We have been working with Chris and O’Rardons Renovations to get our home ready to put on the market. Chris is great to work with. He’s very friendly and easy to talk to, and very honest. The quality of work is great. We’ve also needed work done right away and Chris and his team were able to help us out. We will definitely continue to work with Chris and his team in the future.Jan 10, 2020Verified
Chris reached out to ME after I was searching for an interior residential paint job, no trim (7+ rooms, 3 bathrooms). Ratings are based on 5 stars Quality: 4 stars Their quality was "adequate". They did quite well on the walls and most important cutting, but overall very poor cutting around trim, even many noticeable areas. This comment on cutting work excludes Paul who does AMAZING cutting work and should likely be committed to doing the cutting - its some of the best I have seen. Overall we are happy with the work they did, its better than much of what we read and there is no horror story here! We will need to repaint almost all of our trim however which is annoying Communication: 1 star They offer 1 year guarantee but are impossible to reach. They were difficult to communicate with during the job, not informing us of planned arrival time each day, or departure (9am, 11am? Leave at 5pm, 8pm?). After the job, I cannot reach Chris or Jamie x 4 weeks, 3 calls per week and texts. This is regarding receipts for paint (double the estimated cost), not even about the poor cutting which we will just fix ourselves. On week 2, Jamie had reached out stating her phone had broken, and promised to catch up and get these to me, however another 2 weeks without any contact back despite my attempts Overall 2/5 stars, due to poor administrative reliability They are adequate and have a fair price, we are happy with the work except the trim but I would find a more professional company. We found several within the same price range that would have simply had a 2 week waiting period, and would press our luck with someone else next time. They have no ability to contact them and should you have a larger problem, you may be straight out of luck. Due to the unreliable communication, this would make me hesitant to work with Chris again I will update this review should they ever contact meAug 29, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I'm a very reasonable contractor. I know that my pricing is better than most.... I do good quality work and I make sure that my client is happy at the end of the day.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When meeting a new client I listen to them.. who they are and what they want what they need in their home to be happy. I do my best to collaborate with them and find out how to design something according to their needs.... or with my clients that don't really have A specific direction they want to go in.... I think about them a person and what would suit their wants and needs...... Some of them just want me to use my ideas for them altogether. I explained to them my ideas and visions and explain what I see what I can envision for them... And if they're happy with my ideas then we go with those..... look its all about making my clients happy and seeing the smile on their face at the end of the day. I know I've said that for but I'll say it a 100 times because it's the truth it's all about my clients and then being happy with the final result!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My HVAC certification....aseptic removal.... mold remediation and removal. I was a maintenance supervisor at a 5 no unit property...... We always had fun new projects happening. I grew up doing this work with my father and uncle. I'm passionate about everything I do when it comes to creating designing and working with my clients.
