FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Oh, absolutely! There is a national exam called the NCIDQ which will certify me as a designer. The exam is a two-day exam which is extremely difficult. I could have taken this exam years ago but was so busy in my career, I never found time. The exam is this fall and takes approximately six months to study for and I am doing that now!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am a rare person--I knew since I was 16 years old I wanted to be an Interior Designer. I don't think that happens much anymore!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
High-end residential remodels. This can consist of kitchens, bathrooms, offices, drapery, flooring projects, countertop projects, any miscellaneous home project.
