FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The first time I clean your house, I use that experience to make an estimate for future cleanings- whether more or less. Adjustments may be higher or lower. If there are certain "challenges" in your home, it may take a little longer to finish, consequently a higher fee. Or if you provide a vacuum or supplies, then there will be a discounted price. For any locations further than 5 miles from my home, I need to add on 1.00 per mile.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whether we text/ email/ meet in person, I get instructions. If you want me to meet you in person without cleaning, I need to charge for mileage - $1 per mile for any trips farther than 5 miles from my location. I will also charge $10 for the time spent looking over your home and estimating. The estimate is tentative, until I actually clean for you. Sometimes surfaces need scrubbing. Or things need to be moved out of the way. If those things aren’t issues, then we probably don’t need to change the estimate much. However, I cannot confirm it until I clean once.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read Pinterest & Facebook blogs like "Household Management" .
