I had a mulch project that needed to be done. John responded in a timely manner. His price was more than fair. He was professional and did a great job. He cleaned the area nicely before he left, which is a pet peeve of mine. I am very please with his work. I will use him again for other home projects.

I would like to give Ehren more stars because I liked him and his Dad. Ehren did a good job with the drywall, the tile installation and his dad Jim did a great job with the electric and plumbing. The decorative tile in the shower area is a little wonky in spots. It doesn’t all sit flush. He had to regrout the shower because the grout was rough and uneven, which he did. He installed a transition piece which originally hung over the curb a good 2”. I caught my toe on it leaving the shower after inspecting the new grout, he fixed it by adding tile to make it flush with he transition piece he installed. Not exactly what I had in mind, but okay. I was content with the appearance of his work, in fact overall his tile work looks very pretty. Where he really went wrong was installing the $900 sliding frameless shower door. He installed the stabilizer bar, the upper bar on which the entire door fitting relies on, and on which the rollers roll, was installed with one end higher then the other, the bottom bar is also installed unevenly so the doors are much wider apart then they should be. One door is approximately 2" higher than the other. They aren’t level by any stretch of the imagination. He used gobs of white caulk to install the upper stabilizing bar and it looks awful. What was supposed to be the center piece of an expensive bathroom remodel looks like a careless afterthought. The handle on the door is higher at one end than on the other and the top of the handle was not properly installed and pulls away from the door. The entire door is uneven, the handle would not stay on. The installation is so bad that the top side is further from the edge then the bottom, the critical stabilizer bar unevenly hung and the bottom track uneven as well. So badly that the glass rubs. The day he installed the door was his last day, he did not let us know he was leaving and did not do a walk through, in fact he left every day without touching base with us. Although Jim did a walk through for the electric and plumbing. When I asked Ehren about the door, he said the handle arrived damaged. He never mentioned the “damaged” shower door handle. I asked him via text about repairing the installation errors on the shower door and thats when he mentioned the handle arrived damaged. On the last day I asked him to breakdown all the boxes and get rid of the construction debris he threw into our yard. He said he would take care of everything. He didn’t clean up and left a garbage can so full and heavy that we had to partially unload it into another bag to move it. He did not breakdown the boxes and my husband had to spend 2 hours in the heat doing that. He also left a mess of construction debris in our yard. Ehren’s response to my frantic complaints is word for word…”I can adjust door top a little at the wheels and move the threshold. The middle reveal can’t be move it’s tight to each side of the walls for sealing of the walls. The handle we will have to see if they can send another one not damage were screw goes into. Yes I can stop by Tuesday. N the morning pick up trash and debri. Then I can take a look at the issues.” In other words he can’t or won’t reinstall it?? In all fairness I will say that the door was not in the original quote, neither was the electric or plumbing. I paid him an additional $1,000 for the additional work bringing the total labor to $5600 with an additional supplies charge of $855. I purchased the vanity, sconces, toilet, tile, some hardie plank and drywall. We’ve been back and forth angrier and angrier most of the day, I threatened him with small claims court if the expensive glass shower door could not be safely removed and reinstalled correctly and he threatened to sue me for defamation of character if I posted a negative review.

TB Property Services did an excellent job! Taurus and his team treat your home as their own: with respect, cleanliness, and they really care about the work that they do. First, TB removed non-load bearing walls to open up our great room, dining room, and because of their amazing work, I have already given them additional work to install a new frameless shower door in our master bedroom. Taurus' team installed the shower door today, and looks amazing! Going forward, I will think of TB Property first.

First off, I would like to start by saying that if you want a job done, Mr. Tivey is your guy. His dedication to fulfilling all aspects of the job, and performing the job professionally, is quite rare in comparison to other contractors that I have used in the past. He loves what he does, and he genuinely loves to see a job well done, and ultimately see a very happy homeowner. Mr. Tivey is approachable and very knowledgeable, he will guide you in decision making and will communicate very well all of your options and potential budgets for each project. He gives great advice, and will advise you on other projects in your home, even if it is a job that you plan to do yourself. He can do all types of work. He will hire sub-contractors if needed, but don’t worry, he will always roll up his sleeves and do the hard work himself if possible. He will bust his you know what to make sure you are satisfied. I have hired him twice, the first being a phenomenal job on cutting through a concrete wall in my attached garage, to add a door leading to my kitchen. The second job was adding a central heat/air vent to a room that did not have a vent at all. I know neither of those jobs sound very big, but trust me they were very complicated and detailed jobs, and Mr. Tivey did a fantastic job. I highly recommend him due to his commitment, great work ethic, and the fact that he will be fair to the customer in all phases of planning, and performance of the job. The greatest testament of his character is that during the above mentioned door job, my kitchen floor was damaged. Upon his own discovery of the damage, he immediately began planning to lay down new replacement planks, and repaired my floor with no additional charge, all with no griping required from me. I'd like to see another contractor do that! I plan to continue using Mr. Tivey for all of my home needs. Trust me, if you are reading this, and are trying to make a decision on a contractor, let this review and the many other great reviews he has received, seal the deal! Hire him today!

Joe has provided various services for me as home-owner over the last few years...he built a new screen door; replaced wooden entry steps (this was a considerable task--15 steps, old ones removed and new precisely fitted to existing railings); removed insulation from basement ceiling; obtained and spread 100 bales of pine straw; cut and edged lawn (large); weeded plant beds; hauled trash to landfill--he was always top notch--on time, conscientious, very skilled (he is a master carpentry craftsman), and extremely courteous. I especially appreciate his honesty and the way he discusses upfront and during on the project specifics, making sure I understand pertinent issues.

I hired Nick originally to install a ceiling fan. But he agreed to do a number of additional chores and that too at a very reasonable price. He was courteous, professional, meticulous and knew very well what he was doing. He ensured that each job was done to my utmost satisfaction before turning into the next one and that too at a very reasonable price. He installed a ceiling fan, three curtains, assembled and mounted a 5 tier corner shelf, mounted a decor mirror which needed to follow a particular artistic pattern. removed an unwanted door and helped with some more trivial tasks, all in 2.5 hours and just charged me $65. He is very creative at his work and hard working. I wish him all th best. He would by my handy man for my future needs and I would recommend him to my friends.

I had several jobs that needed doing so I submitted a request on thumbtack. Jason Bell contacted me quickly and I explained to him that I wanted a quote on repairing a screened door and portion of my screened porch and hanging a new back door. Jason made an appointment right away to come to my house to provide a quote. When he arrived, he introducted himself very politely and we began to discuss the job. I explained to him that my husband had fallen and his hand went through a large panel of screen on my porch. the first thing Mr. Bell did was turn to my husband and ask, "Are you all right, sir?" I was immediately impressed with his thoughtfulness. While there, I showed Mr. Bell the backdoor that needed to be removed and the new door that I wanted hung; in addition, I asked him about some boards on the house that looked pretty bad. Mr. Bell inspected the boards and advised me that they only needed a bit of scraping and a new coat of paint. I was impressed with his honesty; he did not try to sell me on replacing the boards. I then showed Mr. Bell a deck whose wood was rotting and asked if he could replace it in addition to repairing my screened door, porch and installing a new back door. He replied that he could do so. Then, I asked him about some fence post that was wobbly and he checked and discovered that there was rotting there, so I asked him to remove the rotted wood and replace it, making the posts deeper in the ground. Mr. Bell was professional in every way. He obtained the wood and screens necessary for the job and went right to work the next afternoon, as he said he would. My screened porch is old and he had to remove wood slats to rescreen; he did so without harming the wood and fixed all the screens perfectly. He then removed my old back door and hung the new one, installing new door openers, as well. He then removed the old deck and replaced the wood beautifully. Then, he removed the rotted wood posts, dug deeper and placed the new posts. Mr. Bell did excellent work on every project I had. He was efficient with his time, spot-on with his estimate, and arrived exactly when he promised. I feel that Mr. Bell went above and beyond in the quality of his work, his professionalism, his honesty, and his thoughtfulness. Absolutely nothing went wrong. I would highly recommend Jason Bell to anyone who needs work done in, out, or about their home or business.

We had an entire downstairs renewal completed by Tim at Atlantic Woodworks. He removed our old flooring and put in hardwood floors. He had to rebuild our staircase so that we could have hardwood flooring all the way up to the second landing. He put up crown molding in several rooms, changed out our inside doors and door knobs, replaced baseboards and door frames, updated cabinets in kitchen and bathroom- which also including new sinks/faucets, new countertops. He recommended using butcher block in our kitchen which looks awesome! He also put in a stone backsplash which looks wonderful with the butcher block. Overall he has done a fantastic job! He is kind, courteous, friendly. He cares about the little things and wants his job to be perfect and completed to our satisfaction. Every day he has cleaned up where he has worked so as not to leave our home in a total mess. He is a non-smoker. We are beyond pleased with everything he had done for us and will use his services again when we decide to remodel our upstairs!

Love the Gophers!! So talented at fixing everything. We have called them numerous time for tasks such as: painting, hooking up our dryer, putting weather stripping on our doors, adding a section of downspout, helped moved heavy items when we moved, installed new light and fan in our bathroom, repositioned a light over our dining room table, fixed the screens on our porch, fixed uneven concrete on porch so we could install carpet and fixed our back screen porch door. I am sure there are other things they did. They have the most reasonable rates for their services we have ever seen. They come when they say they will be there. They are super great guys.
