"I worked with Mike for nearly 5 years at our local music store, both of us giving guitar lessons. He actually taught me how to do guitar harmonies, and vocal harmonies when we both had some down time. He's a very good teacher and a Hell of a musician. "

"My daughter was quite young when she started taking lessons from John, he did an amazing job if pulling her out of her shell and increasing her desire to play music. He was easy to work with on scheduling lessons. She took drum lessons and then piano. John did a great job!"

"Miriam has been teaching our 6yo piano lessons for about 6 months. Miriam is very patient when my daughter gets distracted. She keeps good record of when and how much we have paid. We have been very pleased so far and our daughter is progressing well. Oh, and she has been very flexible when emergencies or sickness has come up and we needed to reschedule a lesson. "Creative teaching tailored to your needs! Why choose Aubrie? --Qualified teacher with a graduate degree and over ten years of teaching experience --Creative teaching tailored to your goals and needs --All skill levels and various styles of music. Learn how to read music, play by ear, improvise, or read a chord chart. --Interested in learning classical or already an experienced pianist? Aubrie will help to develop your technique, interpretation, and overall musicality. --A professional teacher that assesses the students needs and adapts her teaching style to match. --Aubrie strives to actively adjust and continue to learn new concepts and methods that will benefit her students. Why is this important? As a successful and well-know teacher, Virginia Campbell, hints: "I suggest that parents ask about their [a teacher's] teaching background; not the number of years, necessarily, but if they are constantly adjusting and learning new concepts and methods. Having taught for over 30 years might really mean only one year of teaching experience replicated 29 times.""

"My two oldest daughters began taking lessons from Janelda three years ago when they were just 4 and 6 years old. Janelda has the ability to notice each child's unique learning style and tailor the lesson to meet their specific needs and produce an optimum learning experience. She is patient and creative when teaching, which benefited my younger daughter especially since most 4 - 6 year olds don't have a 30 minute attention span. She utilizes teaching tools such as the "piano carpet" which gave my girls the opportunity to move around a bit and learn at the same time. Now that my girls are 7 and 9, Janelda does a wonderful job of mixing theory, technique, and popular music in a way that keeps my children engaged and interested in their lessons. Above all, Janelda's genuine love of music is evident in every lesson she teaches and has fostered that same love of music in my children. While my girls are becoming quite the little pianists, I see the benefits of their lessons in many facets of their lives. My youngest daughter, who recently turned one, can't wait until she is old enough to start piano lessons with Janelda just like her big sisters!"
