I was whisked away for hair and makeup prep so I didn't actually see Nick until right before our intros at the reception. He arrived ON TIME and did an amazing job setting everything up for the ceremony music. The audio was perfect for the outdoor setting we had for the ceremony, and there were a lot of smiles and very few dry eyes. One piece of advice I would impart is to not delay with planning your song list (200 songs), and to specifically note on that list any that are especially important to you. We didn't do this and are a little bit kicking ourselves for it in retrospect. Regardless, Nick definitely kept the flow of energy going throughout the evening and our guests had a fabulous time. The photo booth was so much fun and everyone really enjoyed the props. Side note: Payments are done through Square--if your credit card company is as strict as mine (Capital One), you may encounter some hurdles. Any time there was a problem, Nick was super quick to respond to try and rectify the issue. We would definitely recommend Nick for your event. He's a great guy and has a great music selection!
Our company, World Events Forum, Inc., hired AV Universal for a 2.5 day conference in Arlington, VA. Xen Live is the only company I'll call anymore for live sound solutions. After a few bad experiences with other companies in the area, I had the pleasure of working with Jay on a wedding event. I'm a keynote speaker who needed conference footage and testimonials for my marketing materials. MJR Visuals were professional from start to finish. Malcholm and his team were fantastic. Leading up to the event, Malcholm communicated with me about logistics and expectation details to ensure that my needs and expectations were met. He checked in the day before and the day of they showed up early, set up with lots of attention to detail and I simply did not worry about any of it, because it was clear that I was working with experienced professionals who knew how to do the work, interact with me and the conference goers and deliver, which they did. Lots of thoughtful attention to detail given to all aspects and a great job. I'll work with Malcholm and MJR Visuals again.
I was extremely pleased with the services Mr. Blake rendered for my voice over training. He brought his Mobile studio to my location and he setup my home studio equipment for me. He worked with my recording software and trained me on how to use it. He evaluated my voice and made recommendations on which genre of voice over I should concentrate my talents. I'm up and running now and practicing. I definitely will be calling him again to do my demo when I am ready. He is very professional, courteous and trustworthy. Five star service!
