Sam was fantastic. He showed up with enough time to be set up and ready to go when the first guest arrived. His balloon art is fantastic. Face painting equally fantastic. Very patient with the kids. I plan to hire him again. He is a very lovely man too. Great with the adults too. Takes a lot of pride in his work. All the parents at the party made sure to let me know they thought he was great too. You will not be disappointed if you hire him. Thanks Sam!!!!!
Alexandra from DC Face Painting was awesome! She was very punctual and quickly engaged the children when she arrived. We live in Fairfax county, VA and booked her for 2 hours. About 10 mothers came up to me during the party and asked me where I had found her because they were so impressed with her art work and how fast she worked. The children in our group ranged in ages from 1-6 years and we had LOTs of kids at the party (about 50 kids). She quickly worked on each child and the results were fantastic!! The photos on the website do not do justice to the art work when you see it in person....she did an amazing job and great designs on the children. She also made balloon animals, etc. and kept the childrent excited. Her prices are also extremely reasonable!! We will definitely book her again for our next party!! She deserves the 5 stars!!
My experience was awesome I contacted her a day before my son's party such a short notice and she was able to accommodate me thankfully!! I originally was looking for a balloon artist but decided that we would need face painting she told me her available time slots and she said if those times wouldn't work she could find me a balloon artist for the time I needed. She went above and beyond and found another artist to do balloons. I end up choosing to go with her (MIMI) because she was able to do both (face painting and balloons). When she arrived not only was she dressed to fit the theme, her work was AMAZING!!! Will definitely use again without a doubt. Very good customer service
Julie made our son's 4th birthday party extra special! She worked with us ahead of time to identify our balloon needs, arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule to create a few special balloons to place around the snack tables, and then proceeded to make sure every child got a balloon creation they loved. We had about 30 children and Julie did an amazing job managing their requests and keeping kids engaged as they waited in line- even handling a tricky situation where a child had popped their balloon and wanted a replacement. Another mom shared the next day that her child had worn the elephant hat Julie created the whole rest of the day! Her services were fairly and affordably priced and I would definitely hire her again!
April with ALD Events is amazing. I hired April to do my daughter's Bat Mitzvah on June 10, 2017. As with any event a person puts on I was truly worried about how everything would turn out. To my surprise everything was amazing. When I arrived at the venue for my daughter's party April was there with a smile on her face and seemed to have everything under control With the short amount of time she had to set everything up, she got it all done. Everything looked amazing. The tables looked so pretty with the table clothes, napkins, chair covers and sashes. I wish I had a picture to post how amazing everything looked. I would highly recommend April, her services were of great quality and her prices amazing. I want to Thank You April for helping make my daughter's party look beautiful.
I called at the last minute (days before my event) and received great customer service. The product was outstanding and delivery was on time. I only ordered table linens, but this company does a whole lot more than that. I know just who to call when the wedding bells start ringing!
I was looking for someone to deliver balloons to a baby shower I am planning later this month. Annia was very responsive with quotes and within a. couple of days all arrangements were made at a very fair price. Will post again after the event but wanted to say that Annia is very professional and organized. Impressive!
Shawanna planned my baby shower, and my son's 1st and 2nd birthday parties. All 3 events turned out beyond expectations. Each theme was carefully thought out and perfectly executed. Shawanna has a very intricate eye for detail, so you can expect everything to be creatively crafted, from the invitations down to the favors. The favors are definitely always one of a kind. My favorite is the balloon arches. Hard to believe they are handmade; they look like something out of a catalog. I would definitely recommend Exclusive Bashes for anyone who is planning an event. It will surely be one to remember.

Dan really was AMAZING! First of all, what a nice guy!! Not only did the kids love him, and his magic tricks, but all the adults did too! From the day I hired Dan, he was quick with replies to my questions and extremely accommodating. Very professional and really great to work with. The magic show was great! He stayed afterwards to ensure that each child at my party had the most spectacular balloon animal! I can't say enough about how pleased I was! Thanks Dan!

This company was absolutely amazing, Shavon planned everything we wanted and more for our event/graduation. There table arrangements were so beautiful, she provided all the decorations, and balloons. She coordinated with the venue and the DJ. We didn't feel stressed at all. Extremely easy to work with. We had a great experience. I would definitely recommend this company and use them again.

Intheevent has stepped in to help the church I serve develop two events that reach out to the greater community. One is our summer picnic and carnival event that is open to the neighborhood. She planned all the signups and activities which were focused more on young children - moon bounce, cake walk, games of tossing a bean bag, cotton candy, face painting. It all came together perfectly and she knows where to find the resources at a reasonable cost but with quality products. She also helped us develop a new outreach project that including a booth design for a community Fall Festival, ordering balloons with our logo and web on them, pinwheels for the younger children and water bottles to hand out with our labels attached. She also facilitated the sign ups for the volunteers and before we knew it all time slots were filled. Our governing committee would indicate that both these events were a success.
Flawless. 80 people, mid-June, a family event in two locations. The first location indoor with seating, podium, computer display, display tables, and a Marine honor guard. After that, an outdoor backyard BBQ with tables, linens, chairs, bar, bartender, flowers, decorations, food, service, grill, everything. IN TEN DAYS. Yes. Ten days before the big day my family was headed for disaster. Our original planner stopped answering calls and emails. Lisa saved us. Lisa made our occasion exactly right in ten days. Tent, lights, ... Lisa and the whole team sparked meaning into the smallest details. And big things like parking, delivery, set up, take down? Seamless. 80 people, mid-June, perfection. I can't imagine what she can do with ten weeks. If you meet Lisa tell her Debbie says, "Hi to everyone and thanks again."

I had the distinct pleasure of working with the incomparable Michele Palmer (and her dynamic team) for my recent wedding in October 2016. I hired Michele and her team to help with month-of wedding coordination. Initially, I thought I only needed someone to help set up the venue on the day of the wedding and handle week-of phone calls with the other vendors to make sure that everyone was on board and had the correct details. However, as this was my first time planning a wedding, and despite my tendency to be an extremely organized person, there were so many little things that Michele and her team took care of that I hadn’t even expected or anticipated and that helped my wedding go off without a hitch. I would ABSOLUTELY hire Michele and her team again, for any event I host, and merrily pay whatever price to secure her services. In chronological order, and among other kudos for things that I am sure happened behind the scenes and of which I am unaware, I can credit Michele and her team with: -Coordinating the walkthrough at the venue with the caterer, myself, and her team (which happened more than a month prior to the wedding) -Working with the unusually inflexible venue to book a real band, get the band in for training, and arrange for the band to be there with ample time to set up and take down their equipment -Working with the venue to design a floor plan and timeline that the venue was able to understand (despite their perpetually baffled reactions to things from cabaret-style seating to the timing of cocktail hour) -Arranging two rendezvous with myself and my husband (prior to and after the wedding) to meet halfway and transfer LOTS of wedding “stuff” from one vehicle to another. (NEW BRIDES: this is SUPER IMPORTANT because it allowed all of our wedding guests and ourselves to leave the venue at the end of the evening without having to wait around for any handmade decorations, gifts, etc. to be collected and transported into someone’s car. It was the #1 thing that made us feel like we could celebrate on the day rather than be the hosts.) -Chunking last-minute detail information for me, such as deciding on linens, and communicating that information to the caterer (including number of each type of linen for each specific type of table in the venue) -Making useful suggestions that enhanced the wedding experience for the guests (pintuck linens instead of plain, three lanterns on the tables rather than one so they wouldn’t get lost) -Exchanging seemingly hundreds of text messages to answer my last-minute questions and attend to last-minute requests for things such as changing out an escort card when one of the guests broke up with his date two days before the wedding -Arranging for 29 sets of fairy lights for our lanterns, checking the batteries for each one, and stuffing them into the lanterns (saving me from a seriously tedious task) -Being prepared to handle any number of high-maintenance relatives, including knowing their names and where they would be seated -Handling guests that showed up to the venue 75 minutes early (!!!) when the venue was not ready to receive them -Checking in with myself and my husband multiple times throughout the evening to make sure we were OK and had everything we needed (food, drink, a moment to collect ourselves) -Working hand-in-glove with the caterer to accommodate our unusual ceremony (of unknown duration) -Helping me to bustle my dress quickly and efficiently with little direction (CRUCIAL when you don’t have someone at your final fitting and simply need someone to bustle the dress who has bustling experience) -Tearing it up on the drums as a guest drummer for the live band for a song or two -Checking in after the wedding to arrange any and all wrapping-up details PS: Michele can totally hook you up with lanterns and make your tables look SUPER romantic! I was planning to host a dinner meeting at my home for about 25 people. Though I had a general idea of how this would work, I began feeling overwhelmed with the logistics to ensure that all the attendees left feeling connected to each other and appreciated by me. I really wanted it to be special and that's just what Salam of CraftyMomDC delivered! With just 72 hours notice, she visited my home, listened carefully to my objectives, and coordinated an event that my guests are still talking about! I was so impressed with her attention to detail both in prepping the logistics and in her service to the guests on the day of the event. The owner was a sweetheart when setting up the telegram. So great full that they were available last min. The guy was punctual and was a good sport. Only negative(not really negative but just disappointed) there wasn’t any actual music or singing with my singing telegram like I thought there would be and there wasn’t the heart balloon. But all in all, it put a smile on my husbands face. So I thank you!
