Stefany A. says, "I can honestly say these singing and music theory lessons have been one of the best investments I’ve made. He doesn’t just teach you to sing songs — he teaches you to actually understand your voice and the music behind it. The way he explains technique, breathing, pitch control, and musical structure makes everything finally make sense. Concepts that used to feel confusing in music theory are now clear and practical. He is extremely patient, encouraging, and detail-oriented. He knows how to correct you without discouraging you, which builds real confidence. I’ve noticed real improvement not only in my pitch and control, but also in how I listen to music and approach worship/singing overall. If you want someone who truly teaches (not just runs through exercises) and genuinely cares about your progress, I highly recommend him. These lessons are professional, structured, and worth every minute."See more

I teach piano and/or electronic keyboard technique and expression. Musical genres include classical, jazz, Broadway, ragtime, Latin, and some pop. I also specialize in helping students build portable mobile systems for outdoor performing. My mobile performance business is Pianopeddler.com. I excel in conveying a strong sense of rhythm, in part, due to my experience as a dance accompanist at The Ohio State University as well as musical theatre accompanist for several troupes around Columbus. I teach piano on a Baldwin 7-foot concert grand in my home. If I travel to your home I can bring a piano-like portable keyboard if necessary. Teaching and performing music brings joy to me, and for my students, my enthusiasm can be catching!See more

Alex L. says, "I'm so grateful to have found Simon for our kids' piano lessons! He is an exceptional teacher who has accelerated their progress at an incredible rate. From the very first lesson, we were impressed by Simon's professionalism, patience, and ability to connect with children. His talent for working with kids is evident in every interaction - he makes learning piano a joyful and engaging experience. Under his guidance, our son and daughter started to play more complex songs that truly challenge them. Hearing my son playing Tchaikovsky was truly special. I highly recommend Simon to any parent looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable piano teacher for their child."See more

Lian L. says, "Mark is a fantastic jazz piano teacher. I am a singer songwriter who learned classical piano when I was younger and I was looking for a short term teacher to up my level in playing and composing. Mark and I spent three months working on different jazz progressions and soloing techniques, as well as analyzing theory so that I can use some of the techniques in my own songwriting. He is very personable and kind, making sure that I understood the concepts for each class, and really broke things down into strategies that are useful for me. I now have a lot of new progressions and materials to pull inspiration from and feeling more confident in my grasp of jazz theory. I highly recommend Mark as a teacher! Thank you Mark!"See more
