My son's tutor has worked with him for more than a year transitioning from elementary school to middle school. The tutor showed great flexibility in subject areas and was able to help in virtually any school subject including English, science, math, world studies, and French. My son's improvement and added self confidence has been fantastic!
It was nice meeting Mrs. Wendy. She arrived on time and was very friendly. My son enjoyed the class and we plan to continue several lessons more until my son can be at the level he needs to be in.

Aleksandra Reinhardt taught me to speak conversational Polish. I wanted to ask my Polish girlfriend (now wife) to marry me, in Polish. I did it, thanks to Aleksandras teaching. The process was fun, and we discussed relevant topics each week. She went above and beyond as she also helped me with my Polish writing. She was great to work with, as she is friendly, patient, and professional. Aleksandra jest najlepsza!

I am practicing english conversation with Charice since more then one year. In this time, I could improve my skills needed for my job as IT consultant. Charice localises my deficits permanently and gives me help to eliminate them. I also appreciate the substance of our conversation, we go through very interesting themes.

I am certified in teaching English in all levels. I offer homework assistance and tutorials for elementary aged students and adults in need of learning English as a second language.
Eduardo Cuesta is an extraordinary teacher. He "meets you where you are" and works with you at whatever level/ experience you begin with. I have been taking lessons for several months and feel more confident in my speaking/ reading the language. I am a beginner. I had some Spanish in elementary school, and have taken several classes in a classroom setting--but never felt confident enough to have a conversation. I now feel confident to speak more and practice conversational skills. Eduardo is always prepared to give you relevant and practical exercises to do at home. He also uses readings, conversation, television and media, and language exercises/drills. A perfect combination of "classroom type" exercises and conversational exercises. I highly recommend Eduardo Cuesta! Mary W.
Ive met lots of people that are multilingual, but none that have the command of speaking and writing several languages that Yolanda Goss has. I was fortunate enough to meet Yolanda when I was an undergraduate in college. While I was satisfied with passing three terms of French, she was mastering that and more taking courses in grammar, German, and working on a project where she taught English as a second language. My relationship proved very fortunate when I was recommended for a scholarship to attend a German university, where I would be taking undergraduate level courses at the University of Goettingen. This was a competitive scholarship and at the time, I only had one semesters worth of German. I needed to learn as much German as I possibly could and I knew that Yolanda could help me. Her plan was that during my senior undergraduate year I would skip straight from the first semester to the third semester. It turned out that I would be accepted in the third semester German class if I could prove mastery of the second semester through a spoken and written exam. Our goal was to pass that exam with Yolanda preparing for the grammar, vocabulary and speech component during the summer break. German is not a straightforward language with its three genders and tricky prepositions, but Yolanda made it seem easy, often illustrating her points with information from other languages. Long story short, I passed my entrance exam to third semester German with flying colors. My accomplishments in qualifying for third-semester German were certainly noticed and I was able to win my scholarship and go overseas. Furthermore, when I arrived at the University of Goettingen I passed the German comprehension exam with high marks on the very first attempt. I credit that achievement to Yolanda. Second semester German deals with future tenses and subjective constructions; its beyond introductory phrases and conversational vocabulary. Yolanda helped me build the foundation to put it all in perspective. Ive always been impressed with Yolandas ability to make learning languages seem simple. She has incredible patience and a real love for learning and teaching. I think shes a great resource for anyone needing an instructor, teacher or tutor and I give her a heartfelt recommendation.
I met with Alex on a regular basis for over a year so he could help me write academic English in the context of my Masters, as well as improve my spoken English - which is almost fluent without being native. He also proof read my papers and thesis. I thought his skills in teaching to be outstanding. Very encouraging and patient, he took these lessons very seriously, as classes could be postponed but never cancelled, which ensured a much needed regularity. His way of teaching is pleasant and never monotonous; he manages to convey his enthusiasm very well; I felt encouraged to sustain my efforts, week by week, especially as my progress was visible. I would strongly recommend Alex for anyone willing to learn or improve their language skills - either in French of in English, as his French was as good as mine (a native speaker).
Mirna listened to what I wanted to get out of lessons with her-namely improve my grammar and written skills ( I speak some Spanish). She used resources that were interesting for me such as newspaper articles on economics, politics and culture. Her lessons were a pleasure at the same time BECAUSE they were interesting. She helped me tremendously.
