Caliph did an excellent job restoring Windows 7 on one of my computers after a Windows 10 upgrade left the computer with the "Blue Screen of Death"! He arrived on-time and completed the job in a quick and efficient manner. I will definitely call him again if I have any other computer issues!
I hired Marcus to help with a screen repair for my laptop. Marcus was a pleasure to work with! When I first posted my issue on Thumbtack, he responded quickly and said he would be able to fix the problem. He was readily available to repair my laptop at my convenience and he was a great communicator. I knew I could reach him by phone or e-mail anytime! The actual repair itself took about 15-20 minutes! It was so effortless. I’m extremely happy and satisfied with the entire process; from getting an initial estimate, to setting up the appointment, getting my laptop repaired, and how easy the payment was at the end of the process. I had to stop my car rapidly and my drink spilled onto my computer case. Somehow, the water found it's way to the screen which now looked like a lava lamp. Andreas went over the possible outcomes and costs involved upfront. He actually wanted to try and see if he could just clean the LCD screen. If that did not work, he would have to replace the screen. Today, very few people will try to save you money and just jump to the easiest fix and not care about the cost. Andreas actually cares!!! Turns out, he had to replace the screen as he told me. The costs were very inexpensive compared to others in the laptop repair service community. Andreas kept me abreast of the situation when parts were ordered, came in and when the computer was ready. He was organized, friendly, efficient, went beyond the call of duty. He service was outstanding and his prices were even better. Thanks to Andreas, my laptop is just as good as the day I bought it. I would HIGHLY recommend Andreas for his professional and friendly service!!!
I had an issue with my laptop where I seemed to have a virus and ads were popping up every time I clicked on something. I wasn't sure what to do about it so I had asked Neel to help me fix it. I called him up one day and he walked me through the process step by step. He made the process very simple and helped me understand what I was doing. He definitely has the knowledge and skills needed for technical issues. I would recommend him to anyone having computer issues!
I went to get a broken home button fixed on an iPhone 5 and the technician replaced the button at a reasonable price, far below what the Apple store 'genius bar' quoted. But the phone which was working to that point, would not come on. I was not too optimistic at this point and thought it was a lost cause but the technician called his manager and they assured me the would get to the bottom of it and fix it, whatever it took. It was up and down for a whole day and at one point they planned to replace the mother board, but ultimately a third technician figured out and fixed the problem. I did not loose any data and at no point was I told it would cost extra. I give them 5 stars for customer service but will rate @ 4 for this service overall because of the complications that perhaps could have been avoided. I would certainly go there again.
Phone screen was replaced within a few hours with pick-up and delivery service of the device. The cost was comparable to any other repair shop that I got an estimate from in Washington, DC to replace a cracked phone screen (except without the hassle of going to a repair shop). Highly recommend!

What impressed me about Maria was her painstaking attention to detail. She thoroughly researched my model (Samsung Series 7 gamer) and had learned as much as she could about it before I showed up. She then spent literally 8 hours disassembling my laptop down to the motherboard, painstakingly removing every individual recalcitrant tiny screw and pinhead-sized connector, before wiping off the old thermal paste on top of the CPU and GPA and applying new thermal paste to bond the chips better to their heat sinks. She then proceeded to clean not just the fan but EVERYTHING, and I mean everything, inside and outside the case to a high degree of polish. I doubt the computer looked that good when I bought it. My computer was a rare gamer model that is very complex, has little documentation, and - as far as I could find - no YouTube geek videos on how to take it apart. It is no longer even supported by the manufacturer. It takes far more-than-your-average computer tech guy/gal to deal with it, because it requires original problem-solving every step of the way. After putting it all back together, the computer worked (always a good thing!). It turned out the problem I had was not just heating inside the case, but a semi-broken power brick, which I also had to replace. But, in the end, I got my fps back up to 100 (previously fluctuating wildly between 13 and 90). I spent $100 and saved $2000 on a new gaming laptop. Maria provided a screaming deal, in terms of value delivered for money spent.

I'm in my 90's. I know a little about the computer, like solitaire and emails and can write some things I need to remember, but it always scared me to use it because I was afraid something would go wrong. And it did---too often. Then I got in touch with CompuCell. Life is improving. Paul came a couple of times to get me out of a jam. He didn't just correct the problem but helped me learn how such things happen. And sometime I just call and he can straighten things out on the phone. I've had a flip-open cell phone for over 10 years. Carried it for emergencies, never turned it on. Paul talked about cell phones and came up with one I could use for a while to try. I always envied people with modern cell phones but never thought I could use one. I'm learning! And fearfully enjoying it. Paul spent about 45 minutes with me to start. He's a good teacher and I'm a scared student. I can send text messages, use the phone, the camera, and a few apps I'm getting familiar with. I will need another one or two lessons to move on. Accidently my left my iphone on top of my car and drove to work. A Good Samaritan found the phone blocks away from my home in the side of the road, answered when I called and returned it to me, but the screen was completely crushed. It looked like a car ran over it and permanently ruined it, but I had a flyer from RefuGeek and thought I would give them a try. So glad I did. They picked up the phone that evening and returned it to me the next day looking brand new and working perfectly. Convenience, price, timeliness and quality what more could I ask for.

The technician was very prompt with responding and making himself available to come to my location to fix my phone. He was super fast with the repair of the screen and His price was very reasonable and competitive compared to shops that repair phones. I have referred them to at least 3 other clients of mine.
The computer had an internal software conflict that caused it to continually reboot. Dwight did a complete and thorough diagnosis, explained every step in plain English, and corrected the problem. He installed windows 10 and performed much needed updates as a bonus. I could not have had a better experience. It is also important to note that Dwight has exceptionally fair and reasonable prices.for his service. If you want a competent technician that is without question a "best value" for a reasonable fee then you need to hire Dwight.
I had a seemingly hopeless situation with a 2 year old Macbook Pro with the 'white screen of death.' I had tried everything so gave The Geek a shot and sure enough, he found the problem (faulty wiring from the hard drive), ordered the part, installed it and saved all my data.
