I created a project to have some outside floodlight fixtures repaired because new lights weren't powering on. Rodney was no muss, no fuss. He arrived on time, actually hours earlier than estimated within the time frame because I wasn't working that day. He worked cooly, calmly, and collectively with intention rather than lallygagging around; neither slowly or hurriedly. Fixed the problem and explained what it was, without any attempt to overstate the problem, add unnecessary time to the clock, or up sell services or cost to repair. Though skilled at what he does, he spoke plainly and simply so that I could understand what the problem was, which he quickly troubleshot and immediately diagnosed. Pricing was very fair, hourly, but he fixed the problem under an hour, but estimated before arrival that resolution shouldn't extend beyond two hours. Confidence, I like that. Long story short: I tipped him closer to two hours which comments on the fairness of his pricing and the satisfaction of his results. Even when one's satisfied with a resolution but feels the repair costs were necessarily expensive or more costly than they should be, one never, ever tips. So would I hire him again? Of course: He's my new permanent electrician. Thanks!
