Xen Live is the only company I'll call anymore for live sound solutions. After a few bad experiences with other companies in the area, I had the pleasure of working with Jay on a wedding event. He arrived early (and very well-dressed), set up quickly and efficiently, and then proceeded to do an incredible job hosting the event and getting people on the dance floor. 10 out of 10, 5 stars, highly recommended, etc. Bottom line, if you want to be certain your event will be a success, CALL XEN LIVE.

Rich is a natural teacher, kind and quick to praise progress. He was also very quick to adapt the class in accordance to my progress, provided exercises of increasing difficulty, and gave ideas for further direction. His knowledge of guitar music is incredible.

Tona is absolutely awesome - she made me feel very comfortable with our trial lesson and so I bought the 6 pack of lessons. I'm intimately familiar with music as I used to play and sing way back when also going to school for vocal performance. But, I hadn't done it in a long while and wanted to get back into music. She's been extremely patient with my rustiness (even when I'm not with myself) and I really appreciate that. As an adult getting back into music with the violin I appreciate her honesty, patience, professionalism, response time and her being on time for our lessons.

Mr. Grattan provided videography, a band, and a duo, for my daughter's wedding. It was such a relief having all of that in the hands of one person instead of three different vendors. The band was called the Rockits, and they were fantastic. They played great music and when they went on break, they played new music like a DJ would. It was really perfect. The duo was PG&Robin. They were really good for the beginning when people were heading in and having a champagne before the ceremony. The video Mr. Grattan did was really professional and my daughter got it within a week, which is unheard of. She got a long and short one. I highly recommend Mr. Grattan and PG Productions for video and entertainment.

My wife wanted a wedding singer for our wedding. I said okay, but in the back of my mind I had flashes of Adam Sandler. We contacted David, and the whole process was very smooth...he was flexible and accomodating to what we wanted. We picked out 3 songs we wanted him to sing and he improvised the rest just before the start of the ceremony, which we were fine with. Let me tell you, David hands down exceeded our expectations. It felt as though we were at a concert rather than a wedding...we absolutely loved everything about his voice, his guitar playing, everything! In fact, he had me crying when he started singing the entrance songs for Sheila and I...it was very touching. We were married 4/29/2017, and we are both beyond happy that he was there to sing for us and our guests. Our guests are still raving about what a wonderful job the wedding singer did. Hiring David was the best decision for us and for our wedding, and we are honored by your presence. We cannot thank you enough for making our day even more special. So for anyone and everyone out there that is looking to enhance their day with the addition of a wedding singer, David is the man you need, hands down, no questions asked...he is that awesome!

There are not enough kind words for Mark. He came to my house with his harp to play for me and once I booked him he kept everything a surprise. Having a harp at my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour was a surprise for my mom! Mark came to the rehearsal and stayed incognito the whole time. Mark was professional and added such class to the wedding. The music was beautiful and Mark let me customize it to exactly what I wanted. I would recommend Mark a million times over!!! Also my mom cried when she realized there was a harp. Thank you Mark for making my day so special!

Alvin Smithson is just about the perfect piano teacher for someone like me. When I decided to make use of the venerable Steinway piano in my living room by learning to play it, I was already ten times the age that many consider to be optimal for the beginner, that is about six, and naturally apprehensive about what I was embarking upon. Alvin first made sure that the Steinway was restored to the best sound with his expert tuning. He then took me through all the rudiments and gradually through the more involved exercises, sight reading, as well as improvisations. He is very patient in going over any problems areas, ready to offer encouragement when needed, and, most of all, inspires creativity along with discipline. Alvin is a true expert in performance physiology and makes sure that the fingers are exercised properly based on my own needs. There is an added benefit from that. When I started, I had been troubled by the pain and stiffness of arthritis for a number of years. Since playing the piano, the pain is practically gone and I can move the fingers deftly across the keyboard. I credit Alvin for that, too. I would recommend him as a teacher to anyone.

Jack Philipoom came to my attention at my nieces wedding reception in Williamsburg , Virginia where he was performing jazz guitar with an ensemble. It was there that I booked him for a garden party at my McLean , Virginia home. The flow and style of this extremely talented musician added an elegant ambiance to our evening. His personality is delightful, and our guests found him to be simply charming. I will definitely rehire him, and have highly recommended him to our friends.

Glenn Baker is an absolute professional--from our first communication, through planning the music for our Class Reunion, up until the end of the evening of our event. He "got" our music perfectly -- and many folks commented on how good he was. He was extremely responsive to all of our questions, provided great value for her service and was punctual. We LOVED his lighting display -- made for a very festive, but not intrusive, atmosphere. Thanks so much, Glenn!

Julien did a really good job playing for our wedding. Our original musician cancelled on us last minute and Julien was able to pull together a great set for us and even learn a piece that my now-wife really wanted to have played during the reception. He was really friendly but also very professional and knowledgable.

Matt played for us during our wedding ceremony in October of 2013. Not only is Matt an extremely talented musician, he is one of the most genuine and thoughtful people I have come across in the music industry. His performance was spectacular, our guests raved. I would recommend him to everyone!

Wow! we highly recommend Josh Walker! Our daughter got married May 7, 2016, and her and her fiance wanted Reggae music. They reached out to Josh within two months of their wedding. The previous musician couldn't do it. Josh accepted the job and went above and beyond to deliver the sound they were looking for. On behalf of our daughter, son-in-law, their guests, and ourselves, Josh is very professional and a man of great character. We received many compliments on the music which is testimony to his hard work. Thank you, Josh, for being a special part on Megan & Mark's wedding day. We will definitely be contacting you in the future when in need for a musician!! Blessings, Donna & Gary Lewis

Ron is well versed in music theory, rhythms, chords, scales, and basically all musical concepts for beginners, mid-level, or even professional level piano players. He relates in a "down to earth" manner, that is easy to understand and apply ! Keep up the good work Ron !! I even received personal calls, to help me improve my playing. I was an absolute beginner, when Ron started helping me, and I didn't know what a chord or scale was, and now, for the last 4 years, I have been the "House" pianist, at a luxury hotel, playing for weddings, corporate events, etc.!! (I would play for FREE, but the hotel is paying me to play...I can't believe it !! I am learning everyday, and I thank Ron, for giving me the foundation tools, needed to learn, to play the piano.

I highly recommend Simon for your wedding, funeral, or other need. I was blessed and honored to have Simon provide the music for a funeral service earlier this year. With Simon's talent as a vocalist, as well as his skills as a composer, pianist, organist, and accompanist, the music was superb. He worked with me closely on the planning, and his suggestions for the service were excellent, including the addition of a soloist with whom Simon had worked. Many people told me afterwards how much the music touched them and uplifted them on a sad occasion, and I was touched and uplifted as well.

I have been taking lessons from Sam for about two months now. I am an adult who is coming to vocal training with little experience in singing other than some high school chorus and performances. And I am so glad I did! Sam was immediately welcoming, encouraging, and warm. He is clearly a wonderful person and it shows right away. But maybe more importantly, he is an extremely talented singer, performer and instructor. I really wanted an experienced and sophisticated teacher who will not just encourage me but teach me, push me, and help me to advance and become an accomplished performer. Sam has a great reputation and teaches many advanced, even famous singers but he is also great for beginners. He teaches you not just singing technique but how to develop as a musician both technically and emotionally. Before starting with Sam, I took a few lessons with others who start you off the bat with sheet music and just singing. That doesn't work in my view. Singing is difficult (more difficult than I expected actually) and to progress you have to understand theory, rhythm, timing and phrasing. Sam starts you with these kinds of lessons so that when you start singing you understand the music itself, not just technique. In short, you won't find a better teacher or person than Sam so if you are interested in progressing either as a beginner or an experienced singer, please check him out. You won't be disappointed.
