I was recently a bridesmaid in one of my friend's weddings and Latasha went above and beyond for me! I'm a breastfeeding mom and she made sure I had a private room at each of the places we had to be at. She even made sure I had water and snacks. She was completely empathetic and just wonderful. With everything else she had going on I was truly impressed she made time to accommodate me and the rest of the bridal party. I highly recommend her!

My parents and sister are purchasing me Cara's services as a birthday present so I wont have an actualy review for a bit but I feel better just from talking to her and viewing all the amazing information on her website. Just from the phone consultation she was able to put together a good plan to help me overcome my issues with food. I have IBS and during my teenage years and young 20's I pretty much asssociated food with pain. Despite getting my IBS under control I have realized I find no joy in eating and see it only as something I have to do to stay alive. Having 2 small children has really opened my eyes to how much I am not equipping my kids with the tools they need to be healthy or a love of food or cooking. I am so excited to start making a solid investment in my health as well as my family's health.

I have been to many fun, informative and delicious classes and events at the Culinary Center of Kansas City. I have learned to step out of my box when it comes to cooking thanks to the Center's yummy classes. They have a group of people there that cannot do enough to make your experience with them exceptional! I knew they also did private events, so when I was deciding where to have my wedding, the Culinary Center was the place for me! They exceeded my expectations in every way. It really is my go to place for fun and food!

How much do private cooking lessons cost?

You can take private cooking classes to have fun, to learn a new skill, to improve your health, to bond with your partner, to enjoy a playful first date or to have a unique birthday party experience. Nationally the average cost of private cooking lessons ranges between $100 and $150. Prices can vary, depending on where you live, the type of cooking class you’re taking, the ingredients the chef provides, and the reputation of the chef. Cooking classes with Anthony Bourdain will clearly cost more than classes with a local restaurant owner. The number of people in the class will also affect the cost, with group lessons often priced per person to account for the cost of ingredients. For example, for group lessons, a brunch workshop may cost an average of $70 per person, a steak dinner with sides could cost an average of $80-$85 per person, and a sushi lesson could cost an average of $100 per person. Ingredients play a major role in cost, as the chef will pre-purchase the food you will be working with. Weekday classes will usually cost less than weekend classes.
