FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For full band recording, mixing, producing, mastering, or all of the above I charge flat per song rates. I do offer bulk pricing so it's more efficient to work on an EP or album as a whole rather than one song at a time. If you're just needing vocal individual instrument recording I charge an hourly rate, minimum of 2 hours. Every project is unique and some have special needs or some don't require full band productions, contact me and I'll get you a personalized quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Let me know exactly what services you're needing, what style your music is like and what timeframe you're working with. If possible, let me know of any commercial songs that sound like what you want. For a full band production my turn-around time can be a few days to a couple weeks depending on how many songs we're working on.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Johnson County Community College with Associate's of Arts, Recording Arts Technology Certificate and Business Plan Certificate. I held an internship at Chapman Recording and Mastering and have been working at my own studio full time since 2012.
