Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I basically have lived the past 30 years of my life trying to learn and perfect as many trades and services possible. I say there is no job that is too big or too small. I'm experienced in electrical, roofing, framing and painting. I have 20 years of experience using chainsaws for every type of tree and stump removal scenario you could imagine. I do heat and A/C installation, removal, services, and repairs. This is going on my second year as a Kansas resident. I would seriously love to see my home, auto, boat, building, motorcycle, and R/V detailing sectors grow. You see, as a little boy, I idolized my grandfather because I was blessed with getting to be stuck by his side for many years and to this day he's still the single most happy successful entrepreneur I've ever encountered. With every single job, I keep the saying my grandfather burned into my young little brain, "Excellence Is In The Details" and I pledge that regardless of the size, type of whatever job you so gratefully bless me with, I will never fail to apply that very principle to your property. Please don't ever rush into anything when it comes to hiring for these areas of work. I personally and professionally guarantee all work and provide free estimates to everyone equally. I provide an emergency electrical, heat and A/C 24-hour service.

Brandon and I never made it out of the negation phase, he gave me an insanely high quote and when I turned it down Brandon then saw fit to send me a long diatribe filled with how educated he 'is'. Never have I had a response given by a business owner to a customer that was so condescending and insulting as his response to me, clearly hurt that I turned down a price so high I can only call it a scam. His pricing was triple that of his competitors when offering nothing extra as far as terms or service. I'm sure he'll try and argue that his prices are guaranteed and that he is bonded or insured or something, which is not anything special for this line of work, it's what most would consider the standard. His reply showed me that in no way should anyone ever consider doing business with him. Those that would take that risk are sure to regret the decision almost immediately. I will also urge Thumbtack to remove him from the site as Brandon clearly doesn't understand what being a professional is.
Done It Twice Lawn&Landscape LLC's reply
Ok. So, as anyone can clearly see, something went wrong with this particular consumer. I could very easily spat out excuses to justify my statements while attempting to gain Jason's business, however the only thing that really matters is my responsibility to uphold, maintain, and hopefully salvage the reputation of my business. What isn't clear to see is Jason's initial response to a very loose estimate, which happened to be filled with accusations of scamming and fraud stemming from his opinion of an outlandish quote. I took offense immediately and instead of taking some time to calm down, I ignorantly responded instantly. Not to make excuses, but it happened to be only my second day of ever conducting business in the realm of internet marketing, and it's challenging more than I could've imagined to ascertain the detailed information necessary to generate a quote to please every single prospective customer. And for the record, Jason requested a quote for a company to completely pack his entire 3 bedroom home, without divulging any information on the amount, size, or type of contents. So basically I had to expect the worst, while hoping for the best, and by that I mean I had to give a figure that would not only be lower than my local competitors, but also to allow for the possibility of extra unpredictable labor so I wouldn't have to take a loss since a stand by my pricing guarantee. If I could say anything to Jason again, I would first apologize for displaying unprofessionalism, and ask for forgiveness. I was born and raised in the deep south, and my father wouldn't be very pleased, but again, I acted out of frustration. To any potential customer, I can put you in immediate contact with hundreds of past and current clients who most certainly provide a summary of my ethics and resourcefulness quite contrary to this complete stranger that wouldn't know me if we.stood beside each other in church. Once again, I make my living by serving the needs of whoever, whenever, and will gladly continue to do so for another few decades, God willing. Thank you.
