My wife and I are closing on a short sale property 4/17/2015, and we needed a home inspection for the purchase of the "as is" property. We shopped around looking for a home inspector that had a good combination of experience and value, and Mr Harold Shelby was the guy we chose...and we were not disappointed. Mr Shelby pointed out every little flaw in great detail.He answered all of our questions and offered insight on a problem that we had with the HVAC system. AAA/Jason did an inspection on a home that we are trying to purchase and we were very happy with the inspection service provided. He was very thorough and professional; and he made very a honest effort to disclose issues that needed to be corrected to make the house safe and ultimately save us money in repairs. Jason applies a great deal of expertise in his inspections and does not just go through the motions like other inspectors we've used. His final report is "state of the art", easy to understand, and a very good tool for negotiating repair work.

We had a humid, moldy unappealing crawl space that I knew would eventually cause us structural problems with rotted joists and subfloor. Lucas and his Top Choice crew did a thorough evaluation, quickly tendered a proposal to encapsulate the space and followed through on every commitment made. We couldn't be happier with the results. The work was just completed, but the area is clean and sealed and the humidity is coming down. I don't expect any more crawl space troubles.

I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time and the inside had already been checked! My inspector arrived about 30 minutes ahead of time and worked quickly but efficiently and I had my report in my email before he left the premises.

From our very first contact, Jeff was the consummate professional and he just came across genuine. Jeff was easy to work with and he adjusted to our schedule. He called to reconfirm our inspection two days prior and again the morning of to insure we had the time for a thorough inspection. From the moment he arrived at our home he provided proof of credentials, reiterates what we previously discussed on the phone, stated what and where he needed access to, asked if we were okay with his freedom of movement or did he want us to check in before he moved locations, and get this, "he welcomed us to accompany him at any point and to ask questions at any time." Upon completion he took his time explaining what his concerns were and shared photos to aide in our conversation. He told us when he left late afternoon that our report will be emailed to us that evening. True to his word, I received an email by the end of supper as we were just clearing the table. The report was well thought out leaving little room for questions or misunderstanding. There were plenty of photographs accompanying the report and detailed photos where I thought they were needed. Our experience with having Jeff as our home inspector was phenomenal and we HIGHLY recommend his work. There's no doubt that when I need another inspection Jeff will be the first person we reach out to.
