My daughter Claire had never taken voice lessons before attending Sing USA. All I knew is that Claire loved to sing. She would sing at church, the car, around the house, anywhere she felt like it. Singing all the time and sometimes very loudly. Claire is eleven now and has always been very active in various activities, by her own choice. We are going on her third year at Sing USA....Her voice lessons are her favorite activity and Mrs. Lesley is her favorite teacher. Sometimes she even brings a friend along, just because she has such a great time. I looked forward to seeing her myself. Lesley has a warm heart and makes everyone feel welcome. Not only is she talented, she really knows how to connect with people. I was not sure if Claire had talent or if singing was a pleasurable pass time. I now know her voice has become much stronger and has learned many very techniques to change her voice. She also has learned stage presents and is not afraid to sing in front of an audience. Thank You Lesley for always going out of your way for every child. You are the Best!!!
I took guitar lessons with Chris Mattingly from 2003-2005 and found the service to be outstanding. In 2003 I was 15 and had very little music education or experience with any instrument, but nonetheless Chris quickly set me on a course that would change my life. Chris had a clever way of making the lessons fun by quickly identifying the music I responded to and finding the right songs within that style that I could play even at a beginner level. Realizing I enjoyed blues and rock, Chris took me from Chuck Berry to Hendrix and Clapton within a few lessons. I remember being impressed at how he could put a CD of Hendrix or Clapton on, and transcribe it in real time. But the service didn't stop there, teaching rock and blues was only scratching the surface of what Chris had to offer. In under a year Chris had taught me to improvise my own melodies, learn advanced musical theory, read music, and begin playing jazz standards. I also want to mention that as a great teacher, Chris was also very personable, and had a great way of encouraging the students (I also took a group jazz class under his instruction). Chris was highly qualified, having both a bachelors and a masters in music, and as such, he was more than able to garner even my obsessive interest with the instrument. By the time I ended my time studying with Chris, he had helped prepare me for college auditions in classical guitar performance. I can only presume that Chris has continued to hone his excellence as an educator and player in the decade since I studied under him.
He’s very informative and professional while still keeping it casual enough to make you feel comfortable. This man knows what he’s doing. I’d definitely send anyone looking for lessons his way.
she is professional and singing beautiful! She is friendly and patient to student. Strongly recommend to take her lesson for any one.
While I'm confident Lisa tailors her lessons to an individual student's desired pace, she has the ability to teach with the kind of speed and rigour that serious players are looking for. She shines the most with her knowledge and taste for music. She seems to have a deep understanding of the music theory that's relevant to teaching someone the guitar. Lisa has proven to me that she cares about my growth through her kind but telling actions. Small things, such as keeping me after the scheduled time free of charge, so that we could work on some concepts. A solid pick for a guitar teacher!
She works wonderfully with my two daughters. We have had two lessons and have already seen improvement The girls say she makes singing fun and easy
I'm a student here and I think this school is amazing. I've been here for a week and I am already seeing major improvements in the sound, strength, and range of my voice. If I were to highlight some of the major positives at this institution, it would be the positive hard working atmosphere, as well as the genuine people you meet there.
I just finished week 4 of my lessons. Jason is a great music teacher. I really enjoy working with him. He is very passionate about teaching and fun to work with. He has a good way with constructive criticism and is very encouraging.
I've been taking guitar lessons from Chris for two years, and I have learned so much from him in just a short amount of time. He has taught me a variety of music genres through both songs and scales. Chris is an exceptional guitarist and has an extensive knowledge of music! He excels at blending theory with practical techniques and methods. Chris helps me set weekly goals, and I always feel comfortable asking him questions. He is both encouraging and motivating. In addition, Chris has a very impressive music background--he recieved classical training in Spain, he plays in a few bands, and he has even recorded his own CD! If you're looking for a guitar teacher that will take you far, I highly recommend Chris Sullivan!
Love my instructor. Very nice and well-educated And the customer service is outstanding.
I hold a doctorate in vocal performance. I am very comfortable in teaching voice lessons, repertoire, diction (languages -- English, Italian, French, German and Spanish), acting, performance, concert preparation and consultant.
I'm a successful musician for over 25 years. I've played from Florida to Alaska. I'd love to teach you everything from what an audience wants to hear in all settings and situations to how to read and work each crowd. I'll teach you how to play the guitar and sing in front of an audience, many "tricks of the trade", and different ways to connect with other's. l'll teach you to walk, dance, dress, joke and, the very much, much needed, way's to cover your mistakes. In other words, I teach you how to have complete stage presence, including PA system perfection and emergency entertainment while you fix things (like broken strings etc.). I've been playing the guitar since age ten and singing on stage since 4 years old (probably didn't sound very professional). I have had over 20 years of dance lessons including ballet, jazz, tap and modern, 7 years speech, drama and elocution lessons, voice lessons, guitar lessons, and studied music and dance in college.More than college, I learned most of this on stage. I'll teach you how to get there and stay as long as you like. It is a great way to put yourself through college. Party while you work! But you may be the only one sober, bad form to drink on stage...

Currently based as a vocal coach in a high school, I have an extensive experience with working with others to develop their vocal abilities and goals. Trained as a singer since I was a young child, I received vocal scholarships to two universities and sang at various prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, St. Patricks Cathedral, and the 2010 World Equestrian Games. I also toured Europe with an opera troupe, recording Aaron Copeland's the Tenderland. Now, I have turned my attention to fostering the development of new musicians. It is my goal to help each individual find his/her own true voice.
