Introduction: I LOVE TO SING over thirty years performing and totally love it! But what is even better is helping other aspiring singers reach their vocal goals and full potential. My method is pretty straightforward and easy. Helping a singer stay true to her voice by really learning who you are as a singer. That is such a vest, exciting discovery. I love it when they have that HAH HA moment. Visualization techniques are a unique tool I use for singers to grow as a vocalist. Also, hard work with a twist of fun is a must during my sessions. If you do the work you will get amazing results! No Doubt! Seeing my students get it, The techniques, the warm-up and watching them grow as a singer....there is NOTHING BETTER for me. I've been writing and singing for years and I've never met someone quite like Jessie Powell. Learning the different ways to breathe and learn my own vocal mechanism is what she inspired me to do. She knows how to help you to find your voice, not what you are "trying" to sound like. Amazing instructor!

This is an amazing teacher. she has helped me to build my confidence, I can hear and see progress with my voice, and my breathing or endurance. when i do perform even when I mess up i still feel good about myself because I see and hear progress. plus this lady really knows what she is doing and her heart is all in to work. I had vocal teachers in the pass but i hardly seen any progress and their hearts wasn't really into teaching like Mrs. Powell. If you want growth then she is the one.

Our experience is that Jessie Laine Powell is a fantastic vocal coach. My 8 year old daughter has been her weekly vocal student for about 3 months. Each lesson with Jessie has provided personalized vocal exercises and skill building exercises. She has provided breathing and vocal exercises which have increased the overall quality of my daughter's vocal range. Jessie is very professional and provides valuable mentoring in all areas of performance. My daughter remains a student of Jessie's and we are eager to continue the journey with her.
