- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly working on new music and stretching my own abilties, and I love to read books regarding music theory and music history.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you are looking for any kind of a music teacher, talk to at least three students of that teacher. If a teacher has no referrals, I'd think twice before employing his/her services.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There are a lot of music teachers out there who didn't make it as musicians, or they think that teaching is an easy way to make some extra money. It saddens me, because although some students move on to a different teacher over time, many will actually quit taking lessons altogether based on their poor experiences.
