Introduction: Since childhood, Eva has been a gifted intuitive. As early as high school, she was given the nickname "Eva, The Psychic Diva" by close friends due to her abilities, which had become apparent even at that young age. Energy healing is a natural, ancient healing practice which has been used in a variety of forms and across countless different cultures for thousands of years. In the Western, Christian tradition, this practice is called "laying on of hands." In Asian cultures, energy healing occurs through channeling one's "Chi" or "Prana." Eva believes that there is a Divine Universal life force, which created and continues to create, as well as animate, all things. It is this eternal spirit which Eva taps into during a Reiki session and acts as a channel for this divine energy for each of her clients. Can you describe a typical Reiki session? Because each client's needs are different, each session with Eva is different and tailored to what would be the most beneficial to that person at that time. Each session begins with a short consultation, in which Eva will spend some time talking with you about any specific needs or concerns you might have or would like addressed during the session. The session itself involves lying comfortably on a massage table in Eva's healing space. You will be pampered and made as comfortable as possible with blankets, pillows, soft music, and candle light. Eva will then begin the session with a short prayer and then with the client lying on his/her back (if comfortable); she will use her hands to "scan" the body without touching. She begins at the top of the head and slowly works step-by-step to the bottoms of the feet. As she continues scanning, Eva may stop at different points that she may feel need to be addressed. Often it is during these times that Eva psychically receives information for clients pertaining to their health, well-being, emotional state, life circumstances, or untapped potential, which she then lovingly relays to them. Clients also have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss feelings and sensations, and communicate directly with their angels and spirit guides. After completing this process on the front of the body, Eva will guide clients to then shift to their side or belly so that she may complete the process on the back of the body. What can I expect to experience during a session? What one experiences during a session varies somewhat from person to person. However, feelings of deep relaxation and rejuvenation are typical. In addition, many feel a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and surrounds them. As the healing energy encourages one to let go of all tension, anxiety, fear or other negative feelings, a state of peace and well-being is experienced. During a session, Eva acts as a channel for clients' angel, spirit guides, and other divine entities. As a channel, Eva delivers to clients a variety of messages, wisdom, and guidance, acting as a mouthpiece for these divine messengers. She also offers clients the opportunity to communicate directly with these light beings so that clients may ask direct questions and receive pertinent answers and information. Most clients remain awake during a session, though some drift off to sleep, and some occasionally have visions and other mystical experiences. At the end of the treatment, one feels refreshed with a more positive, balanced outlook.
