I wish no stars was an option. He is untrustworthy. He accepted our money and did not deliver. I don’t know how he stays in business. Do not hire unless you like to do it yourself….because that’s how it will end up. Here’s how it goes: super responsive at the beginning. Then after payment he disappears. He seems super informed. Maybe he is. No clue. The initial planting work was ok. Hired him to also cover my pergola and add some planters. All the materials were used. The pots had dirt and dead plants in them. The roofing material had holes in it. We told him that the material was used. he denied it. Then he left it on top because someone was coming back to install the new stuff. Well. We are still waiting. It’s been since July. DO NOT USE HIM.

Do you not use Mike Riley. He is very responsive and eager initially to get the work. But once he has your money, he rarely will show up to work on the job. We had a fairly simple project for him and he promised us it would only take nine days. That was after we had already waited a week. It’s been almost a month and all we have to show for it is a big hole in our backyard and a loss of $3100. If I could give zero stars I would. He does not respond to texts and he does not show up. He seems to have no idea about the progress of the work and makes promises that he doesn’t keep. We should have looked him up with the Better Business Bureau before we hired him but we didn’t. We’ve looked him up now and see that this is a consistent problem in addition to causing damage while doing the contracted job. I would be glad to change this rating if he would just respond, show up, and finish. We are considering small claims court.
