At MyTherapist, the main modality we use is called Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT); however, I incorporate different techniques and modalities to customize your treatment. A few other modalities I utilize regularly include mindfulness-based therapy, sex therapy, Imago therapy, Gestalt, and somatic therapy. My goal is to teach you skills to gain more control over your own thoughts and behaviors so you no longer even need counseling!
I offer relationship counseling, individual psychotherapy, and sex therapy. The majority of my clients are in the LGBTQIA community, practicing ethical non-monogamy in various fashions, and/or involved in kink. However, I work with people outside of these communities, as well. I also have specialized training and experience working with pregnant and postpartum individuals and their families as they transition.
