He is very thorough with everything he teaches. The very first thing he taught me was how to play by ear and I think that was the best thing he could’ve taught me before starting my journey. It has helped in everything else I wanted to learn since then. He also has a very strong way of teaching chords/composition of music. He’s able to describe what he wants you to know in a way that is easy to understand. If you have a goal he will get you there, every time I think of something new I want to learn he figures out how to work it into your long term goals. I went to him with one very broad goal (I just wanted to be able to sit and play the piano wether it was in my room or in a mall with a hundred people watching me) and even in the short amount of time I’ve been practicing with him, I’m 100% more confident in my playing and I couldn’t be happier with the progress I’ve made with him teaching me.
