Darla is a fantastic pet-sitter! I had the pleasure of doing a long distance relationship for more than a year, so I had to use Darla's services pretty regularly whenever I skipped town. I would have felt terrible leaving my dog Tubby in a boarding environment so often, but at Darla's I know shes in good hands. She gets regular walks, gets to play with other dogs, and I swear Darla and her partner are the local version of the dog whisperer, they are so good at keeping her calm and behaved. I had to leave her once after she got an abscess in her paw from stepping on a thorn, but I never had to worry about her getting her medication on time or being ignored if she was in pain; they care for her like she's their own. Tubby gets so excited when we pull up to the house now; she loves staying there, it's like her vacation too. They are completely flexible with my schedule too, which was fantastic with flights getting in at odd hours sometimes.

Darla has been one of the greatest people I met in New Orleans. I have a very old Basset Hound who needs quite bit of attention. Every time I need to go out of town Darla has been at my rescue. I have been planning my trips with no worries to leave my dog behind. I should admit that I almost find my dog at a better spirit for being at Darla's home than our home!

Darla with Pet sitter uptown is wonderful. I run a local rescue and I bring my 2 rescue dogs 2x a week which helps me out a great deal since I work long days. They are great with my dogs. My dogs love to go there and get excited when we are on our way there. They feed them, exercise them and even work on basic commands and training with them. All of this along with affordable rates... you can't go wrong . I highly recommend them!
