FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always learning more about singing and teaching. I recently finished my graduate degree in voice, and since then, I have been performing and teaching constantly. I learn the most on stage and in the voice studio, but I also read a lot of books on vocal pedagogy to look for new ideas about how the voice works and how to teach others to do what I do.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I can't remember a time when I wasn't singing or did not want to be on the stage! I have always loved singing, so I feel that my work actually chose me, rather than the other way around. I love to teach because it gives me the chance to share the knowledge I have gathered over the years with other singers who can put it to good use.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I teach voice lessons to ages 13 and up, all singing styles.
