Rita's work at the PDR is something you won't find anywhere else. She puts so much effort into sourcing her food from local purveyor's, perfecting every dish to the next level and providing service that makes you feel at home. I recommend the PDR to anyone who is looking for a good meal, celebrating a special event or just wants to try something new. As the General Manager of a restaurant, I appreciate the style of cooking, attention to detail and unique touched that the PDR offers. The PDR is a treasure for New Orleans and I can't wait to go back every time.
I have to admit the sweets and cakes from Chef Pastry D is out of this world. Please don't get me started on the amazing King Cake he made, it was so good I could not stop eating it. The cupcakes are drop you to y our knees good and don't worry, the desserts are not too sweet for the discerning taste bud. I highly recommend Chef D because you are getting amazing food that has been originally designed for you.
Chef Coni helped me plan a surprise in home dinner/cooking lesson for my girlfriend and was great from start to finish. She was open to all types of suggestions for the menu, but also provided some recommended options, which I ultimately went with. She arrived on time, prepared and was pleasant and instructive throughout the evening. Chef Conni was fine with us sitting back and watching her cook when we wanted to just relax. Very low key and enjoyable evening, which is exactly what we wanted. Just let her know what your preferences are and she will be happy to help.
She was awesome, and the food was amazing! She cooked for 14 girls and was extremely accommodating to all of the different needs and diets. It was a wonderful experience, and you couldn't have asked for someone more professional and nice! Thanks Amy!
We couldn't have asked for anything more from Chef Cyn! First of all, from the beginning, Cyn was a pleasure to work with. I told her the experience I was looking for and together we created the menu for our evening. I was in New Orleans for my sister's bachelorette party and I wanted to have a unique experience for her. Cyn delivered! There were 8 of us total and I asked Cyn for a semi-hands on cooking class for the group. It was perfect! Cyn showed up on time with her sous chef and prepped for dinner, explaining what she was doing and all about Creole vs. Cajun food as she did it. She offered to let us do some chopping, but I think the girls were pretty focused on their wine and her directions ;) On the menu was a simple, fresh salad, crawfish etouffee, and a delicious and light (what we asked for!) fresh strawberry dessert. Everyone loved it, Cyn was a doll, and it was such a fantastic meal and experience. I highly recommend using Chef Cyn! You will not be disappointed.
Chef Gerard was outstanding. I really cannot say this enough! He was so helpful and creative. He responded promptly to every request we had. Cooking for 14 girls is no easy feat, but Chef Gerard pulled it off!
I experienced Chris' cooking in New Orleans while attending a meting. I found it creative and delicious Three days in a row! A very creative and conscientious young chef. I look forward to enjoying his cooking again soon.
The food is always full of flavor. I like the bell pepper and my favorite food is gumbo and Suzie's gumbo always have that extra kick. I usually get a hot plate on Friday
I HAD A BABY SHOWER THE FOOD WAS AMAZING EVERYTHING WAS COOKED VERY WELL AND ON TIME THE FOOD WAS. VERY TASTEFUL AND FILLING.ME AND MY GUEST WAS VERY HAPPY AND SATISFIED I WILL RECOMMENDED THIS TO OTHERS.
Chef Kimberleigh was amazing!!! My daughter has a chronic illness and was a student living on Tulane campus. Everything she ate made her sick and she was many times too exhausted to cook. Kimberleigh literally was the main reason we were able to keep my daughter at school. The entire semester she delivered hot meals and extra meals for the rest of the week or freeze. Every meal was different and every meal smelled great (lured my daughter to eat), delicious, organic and healthy and the ONLY food that did not make my daughter sick. She was very kind, on-time and provided little extras as well, bone broth, cookies, muffins for her entire suite. Just thinking how wonderful she has been brings tears to my eyes. We also used Kimberleigh for our last tailgate for my entire family- fabulous, hot and with lemon cupcakes- the best we have ever eaten! We had Beef and Barley soup last night that Michelle had frozen and we brought home...again it had a fabulous taste. Her cost was also very reasonable especially since she delivered to campus. We love you Chef Kimberleigh. Thanks for everything!
I had a caterer set up for my business function at my house. They called and cancelled at the last minute. I called Chef Chad Landry at Chez Bubba's and he offered to cook what ever I wanted, found the time to not make my office function a disaster, and the food was great and everything went smoothly. Thanks to Chad. They even did the total clean up which I was not even was in the pricing. I would use again without any reservations. THEY SAVED THE DAY FOR ME AND MY EMPLOYEE'S AND GUESTS ALL LOVED THE FOOD AND SERVICE. (Note: By the way, this was for 250 people)
