Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I spent approximately 16 years in the dance studio setting learning at the pace of the class as a whole. Now, a senior in college, I am able to work a little more creatively while I both, create and learn. I believe that dancing is important for young boys and girls because it helps to enhance muscle function and teaches muscle memory. I have been trained in many, many styles and still consider myself a student because one can never quit learning. I can offer ballet, modern, jazz, and tap lessons with children of any age.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I do not have a complicated pricing system. I do not want to turn anyway for financial reasons, I above anyone else truly understand the financial struggle that can come along with an lessons and exposures to the arts. My pricing system is based off the families involved, schedules, and travel requirements.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

That's one of the things I love so much about this field. You can never stop learning. I take as many master classes as I can attend. I love learning from new individuals because no one person does anything exactly like someone else.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

This is not amy profession. I want my clients to know this. My current profession is student. I am about to graduate with Honors in Psychology. In the fall I will be moving to New York to pursue a graduate degree in Dance and Movement Therapy. I associate teaching dance with the therapy that I will be doing down the road. This currently allows me an outlet to work with kids and pass along the things that I have learned over the years, and its fun! That's what is so appealing!
