Highly recommend House & Hill Construction! My husband and I recently bought a house and wanted to have all of the walls repainted in a color of our choosing before moving in. I reached out to House & Hill for an estimate after seeing so many great reviews from happy customers—not only for painting, but for a variety of other projects as well.
Darren responded within minutes, and after getting a little more information about what we needed, he provided us with a very fair quote. We were working with a pretty tight timeline since we only had a certain number of days between closing and moving in, and we wanted everything painted and dry before our belongings arrived. Darren was able to get the job scheduled for just a couple of days later!
The quote included all of the materials, and they even went to Sherwin Williams to pick up the paint for us. Darren also offered to help find a paint match for an accent wall I had in mind, which was incredibly helpful.
On top of the painting, I asked if they could add decorative wall paneling/wainscoting to one of the walls, and they were able to take care of that too. The workers were prompt, professional, and did a great job. Darren periodically checked in with me throughout the project to make sure everyone had arrived on time and that everything was progressing as expected.
I especially appreciated the attention to detail with the wainscoting. Darren sent me pictures as they were getting started to make sure the design looked the way I wanted. Since I wasn’t sure exactly what dimensions or spacing would look best, he had the workers show me a few different variations and even came to the house himself to help solidify the final plan. Once we decided on the design, they got to work—and the finished result exceeded my expectations!
I’m thrilled with how everything turned out. They completed the entire project in just a couple of days, and we’ve already had them work up quotes for additional projects like mounting our TV and hanging several curtain rods throughout the house.
It’s so nice knowing we have a reliable company we can call for quality work at a reasonable price. From bigger projects to handyman jobs, House & Hill Construction has been wonderful to work with. We will definitely be using them again and highly recommend them!
