- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are paid per session as frequently as the student requests and can also be prepaid for the month.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new student, I want get to know what they are hoping to accomplish through the lessons so that I can best guide them in the process. I share with them some of my background and teaching methods so they can have a better idea of what to expect during lessons. We discuss these things during the first lesson and it gives me a better idea to create a suitable lesson plan for the student.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a B.A. in guitar performance. I have experience teaching at a music school, doing one-on-one lessons from my studio and also at student's homes. Having performed with several bands of different styles of music has really helped me to know how to prepare students for real live musical settings.
